This entire thread points to the disparity between the sexes, to the sexist attitude many men have towards women.
Notice that this thread was started by a man who asked how many men a woman has had. The world is rampant with that attitude. A man who has slept with a 100 women is called stud and admired by his peers. If a woman sleeps around, she is a slut, and sought after by those men who want to add to their count, not because she is a great person.
Women kept our country going during WWII, when the men were fighting overseas. When the men came home, women were asked to go back home and be good little wives and have dinner ready every night for 5:30. BUT, the genie or "Jeanie" was out of the bottle. The pill was introduced, and women found their collective voices through the likes of Germaine Greer and others.
How many women make it to the top tiers in business or politics? Is that because they are not as smart or as talented as men? Certainly the fact that many take time off to raise children is a factor, but it is not the only factor. I suggest business leaders are mostly men because men select their successors. Those men don't think women can do the job. Recently, I heard an interview with a female former McGill U student council member. She found it very difficult to have her views and opinions heard in a male dominated council, which made it known to her that she was "just a woman".
We see that same disparity when judges deal with rape cases, not just in India, but here, as well. I don't recall the details, but very recently a 30 year old man somewhere in the US was sentenced to 30 days (???) for having sex with a 14 year old girl. The judge excused the rapist because the girl "enticed him".
I could go on and on. The ladies here could probably add much more extensively to this list than the male members of this club. That again points out the disparity. We men accept sexism, while you women are subjected to it. Which of us will feel and experience the "rejection and pain" more deeply? Until we experience something, it becomes very difficult for us to understand those who go through life changing events. eg: None of us knew how great sex was until we tried it ourselves. (It took me several times to get hooked. :doh
