I prefix the names in my phonebook with the companies I work for or with. For example I might have an entry like Telus Anna Marketing for a provider named Annabelle Marie.

Immediately after completing a booking I delete the sms history for a particular provider. I also never have photos/videos on my phone that I would not want to be seen because I know that "deleting" files on a phone does not completely remove them.

I know it isn't foolproof but it's enough discretion for my needs.

If you aren’t a US citizen those rights are not yours.
Yes and No.

Once inside the US, non-citzens/aliens have the same protection of US constitution as American citizens. The 1st, 4th,5th,6th,8th amendments all apply to name a few.

But at port of entry, cbp officers have the rights to deny you entry if you are an alien and refuse to cooperate with their demands. I believe its because you aren't considered having entered the US until you are actually let through a border crossing.

I have a lot of business clients numbers in my phone so I just put her name , or if it’s an agency then I just put the providers name , and I always enter their name then client in w the name . So it just looks like another client .

Just backup your phone to a cloud account not linked with your main identity, wipe the phone, and restore it on-location. Or just keep your contacts in a gmail account that you access from incognito mode and memorize the deets.

It depends on how likely you think you are to get your phone searched.

I have a Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra. It has Secure Folder as part of the OS and is only accessible by pattern or biometrics. From this folder I can use text now, Tinder, Kik, Telegram etc. It is essentially a second phone. Probably similar to file lockers previously mentioned.

Actually I wouldn't trust the cloud. Beware Access to the cloud through your phone. Any software can be manipulated (programming code).
Why? NSA and other government agencies have backdoor access to all data through the operating systems. For you to have a password, the system has to store the password in the program. Essentially you stop the start up of the program before the password protection is put in place.
Data will leave a trail.
Its like alarm systems. The company or manufacturer has a master code, to help set up the system. The home owner get the 2nd tier password and the ability to issue other passwords, but still the master takes precedence. Its not in the company's interest to let people know about this, and the reason the homeowner doesn't get the master code is that the company doesn't want the homeowner to go to other places/homes. So if there is a master code for an alarm system, it stands to reason to have additional access by other passwords/codes.
You can lock your car door or house, but thieves will always find a way to get around your locks, or even just smash through the lock.

If the Border cops see the folder and want in, they will attempt to compel you to open it. Refusing will give them enough grounds to at least deny you entry, if not ban you for up to 5 years, possibly longer. Lots of ladies who are face out with their ads are asking about this very topic on twitter these days.

The folder is labelled something pretty innocuous but I suppose depends on how tech savvy the guard.
I imagine those entry restrictions could also ban you from entering their airspace ie flying direct to Mexico. IIRC they do that via DHS.
All these restrictions on freedoms show a complete failure in the application of their human resources.

To my knowledge this kind of ban would not include US airspace, just physical entry into the country. Several people, including some well known SP's, still fly to southern locales on direct flights despite being banned from US entry.

I have wondered what would happen if your flight got diverted in an emergency situation? You clearly couldn't get through customs, so I guess you'd be stuck in the terminal ala Tom Hanks.

The CIA nabbed targets using fake “emergency” landings, but texting an escort wouldn’t be a big enough deal for that lol 😝

I actually know the answer to that question. Wasn't me but a close friend (for real). He was flying Mexico to Calgary direct. Flight had to land in the US because of mechanical issues. Everyone on the plane was told to stay put once they pulled up to the skybridge. US Customs came on board and asked my friend to accompany them. They took him into a room, told him that he was not allowed to be in the US (he had overstayed his visa a few years before). They kept him in the room, came back a few hours later and shipped him out on the next flight to Canada which landed in Winnipeg. He had to foot the cost of the new flight and then had to figure out how to get to Calgary from Winnipeg.

When I was working for mental health services, I had a older patient who was getting a bit forgetful and stumbled on some of his replies to the boarder guard so they pulled him in for further questioning. They went through his phone contacts and found the number of a known Canadian escort. They interrogated this old guy for a couple of hours and finally sent him back to Canada and band him from the US. He was really shaken up by the whole ordeal. Ironically, he had not even had sex with this escort but just chatted with her on the phone. Since then I have been really paranoid about what is on my phone when I cross the boarder.

Taking contact lists and emails sounds like a violation of privacy and civil rights, without just cause. I wouldn’t think the average Joe Pooner would need to worry about this.
Not at a border crossing. Even American citizens are subject to the whims of the border official and all devices are subject to search, with or without probably cause. If you are not American, it's just worse.
