How do SP's view PERB?

In order for me to reveal how I advertise, or where I believe I would have to become a paid member, which I chose not to do so. And I know for a fact that no person "talks about me on any board" because I am a member of quite a few, and read them daily.

Again, have a good one:) I am simply stating to what, and why I think review boards are, as the title of the thread was inviting Sp's/workers/etc to comment and I have. I am wondering why you want to know where I advertise? I choose to keep my information to myself, I don't feel I have to reveal where, when how I advertise, just because I am participating in threads, on a board promoting the reviewing of members. Simply stating my own two cents in regards to the thread topic.
I am probably going to get hit hard for this but I agree with Large Lips. And, I happen to know her and will keep her identity private as she wishes. Why because that is her desire and I will respect it fully.

Sure, SP's advertise to the public and one could ask why wouldn't she be open to a review for her paid services? Most items sold nowadays are extensively reviewed.

The short answer, it's her sense of personal identity, her uniqueness, and people will fight to the end to protect it. Our individual identity is the only thing that transcends our short existence on earth.

On the other hand, I think ladies can use perb as an interesting tool to see what it is that makes sessions special for the gentlemen who visit us and evolve their service to meet those needs. I have referred some ladies who have emailed me out of the blue looking to get into the buisness to perb and I know that they have gleaned insight into the buisness and the minds of the potential client this way.

Well said Tiffany. I think to come out and say that you will not engage with "Perbs" is probably an unwise thing to say from a marketing standpoint. Like Tiffany has written, many pooners will use PERB as a resource without actually posting reviews themselves. Caveat Emptor.

so have you been a client of hers? obviously it's none of my business but if you haven't then more power to both of you. if you have then doesn't if go against everything she's said about not accepting perberts as clients because she wanted to stay away from it and not needing it and how a potential review ruins the experience and all that?

Because I can, that's why. And I still "work". And as a "public service" I report harassing conduct against myself, so that others are aware. It not only affects myself, but others as well whom this person has harassed and continues to do so. Again, just because I don't follow the status quo of seeing anyone from message boards, doesn't mean I can't post does it? If the powers that "be" could clarifiy that, I would appreciate it. This is also a discussion board, from what I have seen. I come here do discuss what is written in threads.
I applaud you for letting others know about "bad dates" but if your not interested in participating in the review process I hope that you keep your opinions about reviews/reviewers to yourself. I feel that if your not willing to put yourself out there as the SP's and the reviewers are then your opinion on those matters should not be shared here.

If she wanted to keep her identity a secret, why would she choose the handle Large Lips and "out herself" in her very first post and then leave it there for all to see in her posting history?

I know its doesn't add up but it is still her choice to maintain her sense of individual identity in a way that she choses. Unfortunately, our sense of personal identity is not always understood by others, because it is unique.

Aren't we all keeping our identity a secret on PERB?

Good point though.

I'm also curious as to how you know her? Didn't she say she doesn't see perb members? And yet here you are posting in her defense??????
See the quote in post #17........

What can I say. You're right but I think someone wrote, how would she know if she has seen a Perbert or not? So, it may be a rhetorical question.

Here's a scenario no one has apparently thought of yet. Large Lips saw him BEFORE he became a perbite. Rather than punish him for having discovered perb by refusing to see him any more, she continues to see him because they obviously have an understanding. But she won't see anyone new who announces "oh, by the way, I'm so and so on perb". As to seeing someone who keeps the fact he's a perbite to himself, she'd have no way of knowing that he participates on perb. I'm guessing some of her clientele would fall into the latter category. She can't beat it out of them that they're perb members, can she? :)

I can say that I like PERB. i have met a lot of great people on PERB. Some I have never met face to face and just in chat or on the message boards. I myself have taken a break from being a paid member. Testing the waters I guess you could say. I myself don`t know what direction PERB is heading and I`d like to wait and see where it goes before investing any more money on PERB. The politics are crazy here though.
I have found PERB to be extremely useful in the past. I can give credit to PERB for that. But lately it seems more and more people are finding homes on other boards, be it due to politics here, a friend went to another board so they went as well, the drama, so on and so on...
I agree with some things being said and done on PERB. But I also disagree with other things said and done on PERB. PERB is slipping away slowly. It`s Fred`s board and it`s his choice how he wants to run it. How he runs it will depend on who will stay and who will pay. Some will like the changes, others won`t.
As far as being a useful site, it has been very useful in the past. Not so much lately. A big part of the reason I took a break from PERB is because I usually ask people where they found me. Anybody in business wants to know which advertising dollars are working and which aren`t. More and more people are mentioning other boards and have stated that they are turning away from PERB because of what has been happening lately. It could all change though. Maybe PERB will pick right back up again. spar has been awesome in the past as well. A Google search usually brings up PERB or spar on the first page.
As for the people on PERB, for the most part, a GREAT bunch of guys and girls. A variety of opinions, ideas, humor, and thoughts. I enjoy talking to the people I have met on PERB in the past year. It`s too bad everybody is scattering to various other boards or being banned. PERB has has a bold and outspoken membership.
For now, I just want to see what direction PERB heads in before I decided to pay again.

I for one, don't see perbs, or any other review board members for that matter.
A couple of questions come immediately to mind.

Not trying to be obtuse but "how the hell would you know?" Do guys that book you start off with noting their review board affiliation?

I may or may not have seen you. I cannot see how you would know one way or another.

And, if you don't see Perbs, why would you hang out with them here?

Angie, BBW, Surreygrrl, etc just can't stay away. She keeps asking the mods to kill her account, and then sneaks in under a new username.

PERB seems to be uninterested in keeping the people that have asked for self bannings, the troublemakers who have been banned for reason and the clique of former mods who seem to have access to endless numbers of backdoor accounts out of it's forums.

I haven't agreed with you on most topics but you're still new and learning about prostitution forums but damn that is fantastic.

Yeah, Large Lips what gives?

The SPs should grow spines and review the guys who visit them. It would make for a more equal balance.

This has got to be one of the dumbest things I've heard in a long time. Just because you don't agree with or value what she says is no reason for her to stop posting if that is what she wishes.

Her point of view contributes to the overall mix on this board. If you want PERB to be an interesting place, you should not try to stifle opinions that are different from your own or the group that you identify/conform with.

Personally, I am not a fan of hers. Sometimes I read what she says and sometimes I don't. But at least she adds colour to the mix.
