Great job by Tocchet in how he motivated the team mentally without calling anyone out by name, how he changed the lineup, and the strategy they used to shut down MacDavid.. Everything worked. He really deserves the Jack Adams no matter what happens from here on in. We have an excellent coaching staff. All the best to the Giuseppe family.
Agree with you on the Jack Adam's trophy, but I think the NHL only base it on the regular season.

Edmonton I think only has one line and an inexperience goalie.

We've got far more depth than the Oilers. We witnessed that last night, every line came out wanting to win and we have to see that again tomorrow.

Lots of Edmonton fans blaming a cold for their teams showing last night. It's the playoffs, put up or shut up!

We're playing against two teams, Oilers+Zebras vs Canucks. Bettman wants the golden boy to win a cup, and we're standing in the way of that right now.

The Stanley Cup and the Conn Smythe-MVP of the playoffs are the only two trophies that are not awarded based on the regular season. So anything done in the playoffs will not count towards coach of the year. Does not necessarily mean that Tocchet is going to win it, but it does not always go to the coach that had the team with the most points either. In the case of Tocchet he had the team that improved their point total by far more than any other team this year. So he has had the biggest impact as a coach then any other team. I will also say that Quinn Hughes should win the NorrisTrophy based on the most points and the best plus/minus rating in the league.

Oilers are -190 for tonight money line bet. Thats seems like a terrible line by Vegas considering the Oilers were trash 2/3 of game 5

Game 7...the survivor goes on to meet a rested Dallas squad.
Hope I'm wrong but Rangers vs Stars looks to be the Final.

We don't have the depth to match up with Rangers panthers or stars... Will be lucky to win tmr..... Dunno how they expect to score when they barely be shooting the puck

Oil go bakc to skinner and canucks let em off hook

Life's been to easy for McDavid and drai...need to make them uncomfortable for any chance tmr

Panthers stars final imo

No other choice. Toughest trophy to win in sports. Shit happens. Hope its not a long term issue for Brock regardless if he can come back this year or not. He's had enough shit to deal with in his life.
I just read Brock is gone for the season. I have a buddy who got the same clot same place and he was saying Dr is right. That sort of injury can kill. Shame he was on quite the post season run.

I agree with those that have said the Canucks won't get past Dallas if they win against Edmonton tonight. I am picking Dallas over Florida in the final. But getting at least two more home games the next round would be huge for their bottom line when they look at signing players next year.

I'd say cap space will determine who gets resigned? It's gonna be tough with no Boeser tonight, him and Miller did pretty well against Mcdavid on home ice..

Rutherford and Allvin have done pretty solid but gonna have work cut out in offseason

26 mill in cap space next year... Brock, hronek, Zadorov, joshua would prolly be the most important guys to resign and then u fill out the bottom half

Hronek started off playing himself to a nice increase but the 2nd half and playoffs, played himself out of a huge increase will help (would be dumb to let him walk since we gave up a 1st for him)

Lindholm prolly gonna want a big increase, Doubt we can fit him in

Hronek is an rfa,so if some other team signed him for stupid money, van could let him walk and receive multiple 1st picks, depending on how much he's signed for.
