Evidently Kevin Spacey was not aware of the GOLDEN RULE with regards to politics and showbiz. That rule is....dont get caught with a LIVE boy or a DEAD girl. The first film star to suffer this fate was Fatty Arbuckle for acting and one of the POS philandering Kenndey's got a taste of it when he smashed a car into a bridge whilst smashed himself and a gal died in the accident.....the darling Kennedy of course did not go to jail.

Pretty good advice I think....dont get caught with a LIVE boy or a DEAD girl.

Thanks for the advice but I'll be fine, I'm not into live boys or dead girls and I'm not in showbiz.

I was like WTF Noooooo this cant be.
Always liked his roles and movies.
This is crazy. I'm sure police will
investigate and probably charge him.
No Statute Of Limitations in the state
of New York with regards to raping a minor.
But Spacey's twitter response about
being drunk and not remembering was
a little to convenient.
Than coming out that he living as a gay
man now. Thats all well and fine but nothing
to do with rape allegations.
Fucking A hole.

More allegations now

Boy, people like to spin things upward fast.

There have been no allegations of rape, so no charges.

The original accusation was he climbed on the kid, but nothing happened. No rape.

Could be sexual assault, but there could be no criminal or civil case for that.

At the rate accusers are piling on (no pun intended), there could well be an accusation of rape yet to be made, but that hasn't happened yet.

You know he did it.

Those hollywood types are all amoral deviants. Fame whores who delight in preening for cameras and social causes, and love to shame us into living life as they tell us to (not how they actually do behind the scenes).

i hope he gets crushed. The notion that he shouldn't be punished because someone "likes him an actor"? Ridiculous. Give your head a shake.

I'm surprised gays aren't more up in arms over his comment. It's like he justified his "boy rape" behaviour because he's gay now. (worst kept secret in Hollywood anyway).

So it is fair to say that his career has been blown away like a house of cards.

Jokes aside, he is a wonderful actor. I loved his work in Usual Suspects and he was just brilliant in Seven, what chilling performance it was. Although I only watched two seasons of House Of Cards, I still loved it.

What we hold in our hand is nothing but sand..... doesn't take much for it all to spill away.

pretty cut throat business they work in

its a wonder more don't have substance abuse problems
If you think the vast majority of celebrities dont have substance abuse problems you are off your rocker.Drew Barrymore/Carrie Fisher/Paul Simon and Gary Busey spring immediately to mind.If you think people like Depp and the eviro-hypocrite DiCaprio dont have regular drug fuelled party orgies you are out of touch.

Then there are the celebrities like Brendan Fraser who get hooked on prescription drugs. In his case it was because he was injured from doing his own stunts on the Mummy franchise......he has not had a movie in quite some time BTW.

For shits and giggles look at the insane behaviour of that idiot Bieber when he was just smoking grass......wish he could discover heroin though and rid humaninty of his crapulence.

As others have said it is just a matter of time to see accusations pile up as well as lawsuits.

Like I said in my original post...nothing KILLS a career in politics and showbiz faster then being caught with a LIVE boy or a dead GIRL....though now just the suggestion/accusation of improper activity is enough to get the SJW's howling for blood.

Not really. The allegations are unsubstantiated and not proven in a court of law. Now, that said, I think the average person is going to raise an eyebrow over allegations against Weinstein, etc.
Anthony Rapp landed a gig on Star Trek: Discovery and it's just been renewed for a second season. He's not in need of unsavoury press just to get attention. Ask yourself what he has to gain by muddying the waters of his career with this accusation.

We don't know but I think the "believe the victim" mantra is as applicable to him as it is to Rose McGowan. Plus, like McGowan, it just took one person to open the floodgates. There doesn't seem to be any shortage of Spacey stories.

I think that's why the Netflix response was so swift, because there were lots of stories and little doubt... well, that and his poor judgement in deflecting the accusation with a coming out announcement.

If thats his defense it's hilarious. "I couldn't have raped that teen boy, I'm a gay man" hahah

No, his defense was "If I did it, I was blackout drunk & don't remember it"
For a very short time I did personal security for a few celebs ,that did films in Vancouver..
Most were fine, but when the alcohol started to flow, or they disappeared for 15 minutes, with a buddy in a bathroom, and came back high.....all shit would break loose.
They suddenly figured they were above everyone, and the mouth would start running.....and they had me as their hammer.
I didn't last long in that job..I was too much of a believer in a fair word, and a fair fight.
I got real tired of bailing them out of situations, that they put themselves in, while being in a self induced altered state.
I finally started giving lectures to them while sober, and on the way to a function.....these people didn't like to be told that I wasn't there to pin up their diapers....I wasn't their lance....I was just a shield.

Taking down Weinstein is the tipping point.

Guaranteed there will be an outpouring of accusations moving forward. Lots of producers, actors and B and C listers will be chiming in.

One of my favourite Spacey films that seemed to have a wide variety of characters intermixing in Savannah GA.

I think part of the pressure comes from the perpetual spotlight these people live in. Every move and sound you make is picked apart and you have no privacy. That's got to be tiring on the soul. I'd agree with Storm Rider too, it's likely about drug abuse too. The pressure brings drug abuse which in turn creates terrible behaviour. There is some benefit to being a nobody.
they also develop a low opinion of most people because they have so many fans act like idiots with them in their adoration of them

if you have people fawning over you everywhere you go it could be hard to stay grounded

I was listening to the live feed from Joe Rogan's MMA show. he was speaking with a couple guys and this subject came up. Rogan was speaking out how any parent who would allow their children go to Hollywood for acting was crazy because the whole place is full of pedophiles and it is well known. It isn't a well kept secret it is just too much money and power concentrated in a few blocks...

I find it interesting that people wait decades to say something.

why wait decades, and a lot of these people were young, so the question has to be asked, parents, where were they did they talk to them, did they know there young adult was in
a risky situation,

in a way I get it, my father a rapist, in jail dysfunctional family, it took decades for me to some how come to grips with it, and talk.
but other then this message board where everyone is anonymous, maybe two other people I have told, and my sp.

just very very close trust worth people or some one I would never see again.
its a very personal thing,

so I wonder, it is just a case of jumping on the band wagon. supporting other people, and yourself. coming out, in a way it is,

but to me these things are extremely personally

and some are just stupid, like ben Affleck grabs your boob and you don't stop right then and there and go what the fuck are you doing.

someone resigned because they touched someone's knee thirty years ago.

some one you says molested you etc sexually harnessed you but you continue to have a relationship with them, and then decades latter, you question and come out
what he did to you.
so was it really sexual assault, or just fucking annoying shit, you put up with to save your career.

I remember one actress like forever ago, saying she would fuck any producer or director to land a job, and she kind of hinted
everyone was doing it, but most producers were gay so it didn't do her any good.

so im wondering is,, the standard somehow different now, the moral code is somehow is different then it was decades ago.

one lady in our work place the rumor is she fucked her way to the top.
not sure if its true or not, but sex has always been used as a bargaining tool. those willing to use it and those that don't

im wondering is the game changing, our moral standards changing
were out to get entitled celebrities;;

its funny,
annoying shit you have to put up with to save your job or get a job,

so how is that different then my sp, putting up with me,

something happens to you but you somehow deal with it, then ten years latter you, go oh ya this producer touched me, but if I said anything
I would be black listed,

so ten years from now is my sp, going to come out and say you know this fucking jerk I put up with for a dozen years years.
