wow so hypothetically saying 'lighten up' is unclassy.....how? What exactly does that have to do with class?
Maybe if I had said to someone (or to you) specifically, I would have understood who ever I said it to not to like it. Maybe.
But to be upset and offended over being told to lighten up? Come on now. How is that an insult?
If I told you to chill out or to relax....would that be an insult too? And unclassy?
I don't think so, in my opinion that's not an insult.I don't understand why you would choose to even see it that way but I'm sorry if you did.
If that's your opinion, fine you're certainly entitled to it. But I'll have to disagree that saying 'lighten up', and not even addressing it to a specific person, has anything to do with class, is insulting or hurts my business.
I do agree that what is important to me may not be important to others...but I'm sure there are many things we can all agree are not worth getting upset or wasting energy over.
And sometimes what might seem important to us at the time, ends up really being small stuff when we take a step back and really assess how non-critical the issue is in the big picture. That's all I'm saying.
Do you have some Midol or something you can take to get through the rest of the day?
