On with the thread.
I believe Vince Li will appear in court today.
I am hearing rumors when Li tried to escape after breaking the window,it was the 3 men armed with tools from the passing trucker. The three wallop the living hell on Li,before the boyz in blue came.
When the first court appearance he didn't speak for any legal representation.Li face and jaw busted bad.
Some news report mentioned he always felt like someone was after him giving the trouble of schizo.

Wilde: If you were walking down the street and a child was getting raped or beaten by some psycho do you mind your ow business or get involved?
It really depends, if said psycho had a weapon or is much bigger in size then yes I would walk away................... to call for help/police or may be look for a weapon. What good will it do anybody if you decide to be brave/stupid and end up being the next victim. You and silkywhatever can certainly talk the talk but when push comes to shove, will you actually walk the walk?

To Bartude, thanks for the advice. One of these days I might actually do it but reading some of "those" posts can be so amusing sometimes.

Hmmm.... So what I just got out of this thread was that there are lot of confused people out there. :D

I've had some crazy sh*t come down on me before. Some times you walk, some times you take a stand, sometimes you run like hell, and sometimes you let hell reign down. That's how we were created. We have minds, consciences, instincts, gut reactions..... etc.

If you were not there, you will never know how you would have reacted, not matter how big or small you are. I've seen guys bigger than me run and much smaller than stand up and fight. Some people's best interests change from day to day on whether they value their life or are willing to stand up for the better good.

I'm not the same guy I was 10 years ago when I would have taken on the guy by myself barehanded and bust his face to sh*t even while he was stabbing me. I have more to live for now. What I call doing the right thing now has changed, it's not necissarily that I have to take care of it myself. It's making sure that the most people are safe.

So not to sound like a bastard, but 1 dead vs. 1 possibly dead and 8 injured is fine by me. Sounds like he went psycho on the guys ass, probably as good as dead before anyone could do anything. I think everyone on that bus made the call they needed to at the time, selfish or not.

Now, knife registry... I don't think I even need to start, everyone here is genuinely smart enough how stupid that is, especially after the gun registry incident. Registering your rambo knife that you really do not know how to sharpen and is really duller than you think it is, and me not registering my kitchen carving knife which is sharp enough to shave with?

Bottom line is it is sad what happened. Hope it doesn't happen again. Glad no one else was hurt. Hope the psycho rots in jail. Interesting to hear how incidents like this make people think.

Exactly, the fight-or-flight response. But some people like to act all tough and all when presented with such a situation. When in reality they might just pee their pants.

I like the idea of a knife registry. I already have some dinner plates registered with the Bay, and maybe if we could add some forks and spoons that would be great. :)

dumb question
I have a question... why is this guy on suicide watch? Would it be such a bad thing if he decided to off himself? I know alot of people are screaming for revenge but in my opinion, suicide is the most cowardly act anyone could do. Besides, how did they (cops and press) come to the suicidal conclusion? Wack jobs don't always kill themselves after killing others.

dumb question
I haven't really been paying much attention to the news lately and just heard on the radio that this wack job asked to be killed so I am just correcting myself because it is now confirmed .

As for a knife, gun, or even a steel spiked dildo registry, it will never work. The reality is the courts will never have the power they seek because they only come into play AFTER shit comes down. Like it or not, everyone has the will to do whaterever they want to... good or bad. This is just an extremely poor example of how to exercise it.

Vince Li had pieces of Tim McClean ear, nose and lip in a bag in one of his pockets after being pounced on. A killer is never satisfyed until he has some pleasing memento from the victim.
