Does anyone know how to make changes to the calendar in Windows? When I double-click on the time at the bottom right hand corner of my screen, the calendar that pops up runs from Monday to Sunday (whereas most standard calendars run from Sunday to Saturday). I've scoured the Control Panel and can't figure out how to change it. Any ideas? Anyone even understand what the heck I'm talking about? :p

Switch to 'classic' view (Sorry don't know the othe view) on Control Panel and open up Regional and Language options. Click Customize.

It should be in there.

I switched to Windows Classic and went into Date, Time, Language and Regional Options - cannot find anything that says "Customize."

I am using XP Pro - does that make a difference?

Right click once on the clock and select "Adjust date and time" then adjust away....works for me

Go to Control Panels, make sure you are on classic view, then click on Regional and Language Options, under the Regional Options tab, don't click the Customized button, but instead try changing your region to English (United States).

You are probably using English (United Kingdom) right now as they treat Monday as the start of the week.

Sorry, I don't actually use Windows, just remembered, incorrectly, where I saw it.

The Format change Kashs should do it. If not hack the registry:

From the start menu: run: regedit

Then go to: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Pannel\International

And set: iFirstDayOfWeek to 6

Hmmm.... when mine comes up it runs Sunday to Saturday and I can't seem to change that (which is fine 'cause I want it that way too).

I'll poke around with it (alas... without an umbrella tho) and let you know if I am able to change it.

BINGO! That was the problem. Fixed now.

Thanks! :)
