In 12-15 yrs of pooning I've never encountered this phenomenon! They are all demanding either an e-transfer or that I go buy a gift card of some sort. I refuse to e-transfer cause I don't wish to have any record of this transaction.
Someone help me understand why they are demanding gift cards over cash? They say it's cause they get robbed but that doesn't make sense. A person could just as easily steal all their gift cards as they could their cash. It feels like a scam so I'm not about to play into their hands. What am I missing here??
