I'd add he had access to guns (their guns, too - not sure if he had his own). Sex addiction these days is officially a mental disorder. They sent him to a rehab, but did they realize he could be dangerous to himself if not somebody else. (Though it's possible it was one of the guns he stole from the family for sale some time ago.)
