Not this year!

Nucks and Habs for the Cup. That'd be a hoot.
Though I'd love to see an all Canadian final (last time was 96? When habs lost to flames), we won't get to the finals due to Bobby shifty goaltending. Expect more inconsistency. Nothing in his game that shows his swagger of confidence.

WE"RE ON A ROLL! St. Catherine's street was alive after we dumped the caps, and it will be alive again tonight after we whup the Penguins. So long as Halak is hot I see no reason why we can't beat Crosby and his team in a clean four game sweep. GO HABS GO!

ps: and we have 24 cups, not 23 not 25, 28 is way off! We are looking to get our 25th cup!

Check the preamble. The first Cup of the 24 won by the Habs was in 1916, before the NHL started. The 23 figure is the official NHL number.
It doesn't matter NHL, or no NHL, it was still the Stanley Cup. By the way, Vancouver has won one Stanley Cup. The Millionaires in 1915.

Thought you might have been there, along with BJH. You're both old enough.
You were both bashing the goaltender who made 60 bucks a year.
Just mid30s so didn't meant to burst yr bubble ;). But old enough to know that asong as long as there idiotic, moronic, delusional and brainless fans in this city, the Canucks will never win the Cup. Almost like the Boston Red Sox who finally won after 80 years or whatever -- we are halfway there

Naw BJH and I don't roll together....having said that, Hugh Lehman earned his $60 unlike the current gent in net for the Canucks now.

Another solid effort from Halak. PK Subban has arrived folks, he reminds me a lot of Drew Doughty. This kid is going to be special.

Gee that's very sad cause it's been almost 100 yrs since we won the cup. Not sure anybody is alive who was at the Millionaires game when they won the cup in 1915

Awesome job by Halak, and timely scoring.

Lots of work to do. Markov still out, Spacek not back anytime soon.

Part of me says the Habs can't get away with being outshot 2-1 every game. On the other hand....

Might be a closer series than I thought.... Can't wait for the next two games in Mtl.

(Btw, still haven't gotten used to the early starts out here... I missed most of the game! :( )

Boy, Penguins played well tonight - they just ground the pace down and drained all the passion out of the game.

And whatever cracks they showed, Fleury was solid.

They keep playing like this, Habs will be hard-pressed to win another game :(
