i tracked lanochkin down using google, but i was unable to find any reference of him being drafted by an nhl team. not saying he wasn't, but i couldn't find it

maybe badge or peyton can help out here
if he's 5 years removed from his junior playing days and not currently
on an NHL roster, then I'm sure it's safe to say that he's likely onto something else.
perhaps in operation side of the biz?

but still a cool thing to do for any hockey dad.
I wonder what it would be for a hockey mom?

Cowboys vs Packers on–
enjoy the playoffs, vancity_cowboy.

final four time in NFL.

9 of the last 11 Super Bowls have featured one of the 4 teams still standing.

looking like Pats-Hawks in the big one.

nice to read that Mr.Hockey is mending well,stem-cell treatment I believe?

grusse, I have to agree...I think if there is one game in doubt, it would be the Colts/Patriots game...just can't see Green Bay beating Seattle with the condition Rodgers is in, would love it if they did, but just can't see it happening...as for the Patriots, you have to give that organization it's due, they have been competitive for so many years...they must rue the day, they let that perfect season get away from them..have a soft spot in my heart for them.

Seattle D just took it up a few notch tonight!
they're good, but this is just freakin' crazy good!

Cam Chancellor's pick 6 was impressive but his
leaping attempt to block a field goal (twice) was
one for the ages.
Come on manni, Seattle has a great defence, there is no doubt about that, but this game was not indicative of that...they gave up over 360 yards of offence...as for the blocked field goals, that's special teams, not defence...come on my man, if their defence had been that great, they wouldn't have been in position to attempt those field goals...Seattle is the better team, but it wasn't, a 31-17 game on play

oaky, sorry for stating the obvious and I won't argue with you there, gotta give props to the Panthers but they were never a threat,
even with the 360 yards of offence. I was just saying that I was impressed with Chancellor's athletic play on the
leaping attempt to block a field goal and the 90 yard INT. to time that jump on the snap is quite something. we've all seen Troy Polamalu
do something similar but not twice during one series.

moving forward to Sunday, Seahawks should win.
it's just unfortunate that Rodgers is playing hurt. would be a closer game if he wasn't.

and as much as I like Luck's game, will be hard to beat the Patriots.
how does anyone cover Gronk?

Excellent games on the weekend followed by the Monday night game with Oregon and Ohio State. Some of the best ball played on TV in a while.

It sure made it difficult to watch our Nucks in Nashville. I shut if off near the end of the first because I knew which team of ours showed up and it wasn't the A team either.

I'd say Benning will have a long shopping list prior to the deadline starting with some D men with some legs. How is it the other team always gets numerous breakaways from poor pinches or just getting caught up ice?

Seahawks survive. What a crazy finish. My buddy with season tickets facebooked that people were leaving when Wilson threw the interception with like 5 minutes left.

It has to rank up there with the greatest comebacks in a playoff game of all time.

Literally, it was in the bag for GB with 2 minutes to play.

Whats up with the NFL OT rules? in a game like this the Packers should get the ball back and try to respond. This feels like a NHL shootout win.

I share those sentiment, honda.
there's nothing fair about winning a game on a coin toss.

surprised that the NFL panels didn't discuss this issue.
Faulk, Irvin, Sanders…c'mon guys!

league should review their OT policy,
such a tough way to lose.

as Yogi said "it ain't over til it's over."

agree with honda, the OT s/b such that both teams get the ball,as in the NCAA&CFL.

Sherman&Thomas have 2 weeks to overcome injuries, hope they do.

Seattle secondary got banged up and
they looked surprisingly confused today.

depending on the status of Shermans elbow,
Bilichik should consider lining Gronkowski over Sherman.
gonna be hard to contain him with one arm.

I never thought the patriots would make it this far,

I think if any one would have gotten hot they wouldn't be in the super bowl to be perfectly honest.

But I think the Hawks backed in too, the packers should have had that game.

I kind of like New England's chances the Sea Hawks are a good team, but they kind of look confused, three picks for Wilson, they looked bad in general

They both played great football all season long. They both stumbled with some bad losses, but for the most part they were hot the whole year. Not surprised at all that this is the Super Bowl matchup, both Conferences have the best teams in it. Looking forward to the big game.

Pacquiao vs Mayweather is finally happening May 2, 2015. Is anyone else interested that this fight is finally going to happen?

sports casters say it's 5 years late
but I still want to see Pacman win.
and win or lose, it's a big payday for Mayweather.

30 minutes to go on the NHL Trade Deadline and Canucks have made one minor move.

The Vancouver Canucks have made the team's first trade of this trade deadline day. Vancouver sent Dustin Jeffrey to New York to aquire Corey Conacher from the Islanders.

Seems to be a relatively quite trade day today?

Leafs haven't really cleaned house like they said they would. Mainly 3rd liners have been traded without any of their top payroll non performers going.
