Think about the deflategate for a moment.

The Refs are supposed to physically check every ball before every down by pushing the ball with both hands. If they had caught it during the playoff game it would have been dealt with right then and there. Since it wasn't the officiating also comes into question.

Brady taking a four gamer is ridiculous unless the Pats have more involvement than anyone has uncovered so far. Given the Pats being busted for dishonest behaviour in the past, I'd say they had a part in this mess.

This was a trick used in BC Provincial playoff games many times in the past. QB's were told to be on the lookout for it and call a time out if they felt the ball was under inflated. It's damn near impossible to get any accuracy or volecity on an under inflated ball. If one team had a QB with a good arm, best way to neutralize it is give him an under inflated ball.

weren't the tampered balls under-inflated?if underinflation makes them difficult re accuracy and velocity, wouldn't the Pats have tried to over-inflate?

on the flip side, it makes for easier to catch balls if you're a wide receiver.
I thought the 4 game suspension was rather light and $1M fine is lunch money to the owners.
I recall NO Saint's coach Payton suspended for a full season.

Habs didn't have it in them tonight. the legs just wasn't there.
and what happened to All-World Carey? all the hype of a Hart and Vezina trophy
amongst hockey panels?

Game 7 tomorrow.
cheering for OV and Caps to move on.

anyone watched the Rockets vs Clippers tonight?
what an incredible finish. Rockets down 19 heading to 4th quarter…
Josh Smith nailing some crucial 3's and tenacious team d on Griffin and CP3.

better if it were Game 7. if NBA can only find a way to
cut back on timeouts and soft fouls, I'd watch it more often.

Team Canada at IIHF set a record for most goals in RR play.
did I read it right…58 in 8? facing Czechs in SF.

those dbl-digit leads in basketball can disappear pdq.don't follow it closely, but maybe Cavs vs, Warriors in the final?

got half my hoped-for final 4.
have the sense the Anaheim_Chicago series is the defacto Cup Final, think the West is stronger.hoping for the Hawks, but not betting on them.

NY-TB, maybe coming down to goalies, like King Henry a bit more.

Canucks signed Jordan Subban,offensive,puck-moving D man.wonder if he's gonna be as quotable as PK?he's never seen a mic he didn't love, lol.

Canada wins gold!!

beat Russia this avvo 6-1, 1st gold since 2007.

amazingly, they did it without nazim Kadri, lol. bit of background there...at last yr's tournament Kadri was on the roster.when Nathan McKinnon was to join the team
after the Avs lost in the 1st round of NHL playoffs, Kadri said "He'll give us depth". MacKinnon went on the top line, Kadri got stapled to the bench.

his quotes are as entertaining as PK's.
