She is a pawn being used by the environmental movement as well as the UN to further the goals of the UN.If you listened to her "speech" do you really think a 16 year old girl with Aspergers could be that articulate and think up what she had to say on the fly?

It's interesting that the right-wing is hating on her because she listens to science and understands the science of climate change.
Her position is not one built on ignorance. Very few college-educated people deny climate change.
On the other hand, we have right-wing politicians who are using ignorance, denial and gaslighting to rile and rally their generally uneducated base.

Btw...many Aspies are exceptionally bright. Asperger’s isn’t a disorder, its a difference.
I know if you look it up Asperger’s is classified as a “developmental disorder”, but I don’t see it that way. And I admire how this young lady considers it her “superpower”
The melodramatic climate rant of this youngster reminds me of a literary character, Chicken Little. “The sky is falling. The sky is falling.” As for putting our uncritical faith in the science, Greta may want to look into the history of eugenics. Had those scientists prevailed, she might not be around to research it.

Taking Climate Gate into consideration if you dont question the computer Climate Models that do NOT include data such as water vapour and cloud cover because IF they included those they would NOT get the results they wanted.....skewed data and incomplete data gets the results they want for fear mongering via the media.
Calling people "deniers" is bullshit and gets right down to the lowest base of a discussion....label the other side and debase them with a name tag...it is a shamefull thing to do.
Southwest of the town of Okotoks is a MASSIVE piece of rock....it is called the Big Rock....it is a bit of a tourist attraction.It is actually a "Glacial Erratic".....many millions of years ago as the glaciers advanced across the prairies they had the brute strength of nature and that glacier 600 feet thick ripped a piece of rock from a mountain and carried it along and say a few million years later that 600 foot thick glacier melted and retreated it did not have to brute force to bring that piece of a mountain back so it got left there out in the Prairie.This is over the course of MILLIONS of YEARS and this planet has been around for BILLIONS of years.No machine made on earth could move that "Big Rock"....no crane or no bulldozer....a nuclear powered aircraft carrier would not be able to tow it if it were on pontoons.The BRUTE force of nature brought it there and there it shall stay.
This Planet is Billions of years old and mankind has been on it as a sentient species for a few Millenia and only been partially industrialized for the last 100 years.Yes we have fucked some things up with regards to pollution and keeping that in mind Canada is one of the the most stringent Countries on Earth with regards to environmental laws/practices and at the same time human rights.
All I can say is FOLLOW THE MONEY.....look hard to where it goes and who gets what and who is expecting their basket to get filled.
This Planet regularly exterminates us humans as it sees fit with natural disasters....ask those people in Puerto Rico who got hit with a 6.5 magnitude earthquake yesterday which they have not even recovered from the hurricane that ravaged the island.So on and so forth a volcanic eruption here a tidal wave there....ad in a flood....toss in a forest fire...for shits and giggles why not go for an earthquake combined with a Tsunami on say Japan which resulted in the Fukushima Nuclear disaster.
When it comes down to brass tacks the "Earth" is on the winners side....it beats the living shit out of humanity every chance it gets and with frequency.....the "Earth" is on the frequency to say the least.The hubris that suggests that mankind(no not peoplekind you asshat Trudeau) can CHANGE this fucking PLANET and it's outcome is fucking ridiclulous......that mindset is just completely FUCKED.As a Western Developed Society....WE cant even take of our veterans/homeless veterans/homeless people/drug addicts/the wage gap/affordable housing and the list goes on and on with regards to the ills of Canadian Society.....never mind the the USA or what used to be Great Britain.....WE cant LOOK after those small things and now WE have to take care of the Planet?
