Agreed. Rick Hansen, Gretzky, Howe, Rocket Richard...the list goes on for sports, and never mind unsung hereos that do things every day. Who ever thought out the stage show had a huge job of interpreting what it is that Canada is....nearly impossible due to the diversity and distance that this country has. Maybe more of a focus on how things like hockey brings us together etc...or whatever.

You saw that too? I noticed it when they first started to sing and Brian didn't have his mic up to his motuh when they were supposed to sing. Why did they fake it? Just do it live as they are professionals....

As for KD....she was live. You can tell as her ad libs were pretty spontaneous, and to remember all that in one take would be too difficult. She was great!

Funny, French is the official language of the Olimpics and is spoken at every one of them. So if the IOC was ok with the amount of French spoken, should it shock any of us that you weren't? I was disgusted by the lack of English subtitles when French was used. I bet they had subtitles for the Francophones.
