....last night. Calgary didn't put up much of a fight after the first perod or maybe the Canucks came out better in the second. The line of Cooke, Linden & Arvedsson looks like it could be a great checking line with some hands and potential for at least 70 goals this year, taking a little heat off the big line. Bertuzzi got them off on the right foot, like he has to. Chubarov had 2 assists and won some key faceoffs. The Sedins played bigger than I think I've seen them ever play and with King, they controlled the puck pretty well. After the first game jitters wore off, the team defense was solid and Cloutier was there when he had to be, and he made some great saves. But does anyone know where Keane was? Healthy scratch maybe? Good start for the Canucks and they have to keep it going against Edmonton tomorrow on HNIC.
Sorry, I had to get that all off my chest. I'm excited hockey's back but I'm in four pools this year (the most I've ever entered in one season) and it's hard to cheer for your favorite teams when you're secretly cheering for your picks to score you alot of points, regardless of which teams they play for.
