vera's is good...just yesterday had a good burger ( mushroom swiss) at the knight and day Boundary/lougheed). i was there for lunch and remembered how good it was from almost ten years ago.

lol i dont eat burgers often maybe once a month.. I cant stomache them really for that matter or fries.. anything greesy kinda makes feel sick.. I eat mostly raw foods.. nothing complex or too saucy.. and not much meat either... but I do crave them here and there
and i enjoy them while Im eating them.... I just put up with the gut ache after and top it off with birthday cake marble slab ice cream... then I just go home and drink pepto for a couple days like it's goinng out of style .. Meh, for a really good burger, I bbq my own.My ex made me a really excellent home made sauce(sorry not sharing) White spot if i want a burger on the outside.

ound:I have to side with the OP and his first choice....the bacon cheddar burger at Whitespot is fucking sublime....the triple O sauce is what truly makes it and it is best served with onion rings instead of fries....thankfully the Whitespot has a couple of franchises in Calgary that started up and have kept going stong.
For local competition in Calgary there are only 2 good options...Peters drive-in on 16th ave which is pretty much an institution....awesome burgers and even better milkshakes....the other choice is Angels drive-in in Bowness....on Bowness Rd just down from C.O.P.....they make some damn good burgers and have been around since 1975 or prior.....if you visit Calgary or live here be sure to go to Angels for a wicked burger.

Burgers etc is a tasty ass burger my favorite for sure. Veras is real good as well and five guys kicks ass as you can more or less get everything you would want on a burg plus more for nothing extra.
And to add if you are south of the boarder on the west coast jack in the box for fast food is the best. Nothing beats a ultimate bacon double cheese burger.
I would have thought a person with a handle like yours had some expertise: I doubt one in 10 people would even put JITB on their top ten list.
OK then....fuck the Whitespot....fuck peter's drive-in as well as Angels as I have been brainwashed by Carls Junior.....and I want to put my big mac into Kate Upton.....I can see why that commercial was banned and I also hate that it was banned LOL

Romer's Burger Bar. Possibly the best hamburger I've ever had, but disappointed that the watermelon salad (watermelon, watercress, feta cheese) has disappeared from the menu (Maybe it's seasonal).
The thing is 1 in 10 people have never had jack in the box. And like I said for fast food jitb trumps most any other fast food joint IMO.
