five guys in the morgan crossing area by the walmart.... amazing burgers.. and I rarely ever eat a beef buger only veggie or chicken, but they have some damn good burgers and I eat them.. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Also if you are at the Village in W Van get a burger from Whole Foods. Really fresh ingredients but bring an appetite because if you eat one at lunch time you will not feel hungry again til late at night.
Boston Pizza burger ...
For me it's the Boston Pizza Prime Rib Burger (puts Angus to shame). For flavour of the meat it can't be beat, only draw back is the price otherwise I'd be eating one a week instead of every couple of months.
I like mine with mushrooms and Swiss cheese, yam fries on the side.

agreed Vera's has some great burgers, I love the double with mushrooms and cheddar. It aint cheap, but damn tastes good.
Anybody try that 12 pattie monster they do? If you finish it you get your picture on the wall of fame or shame depending on how you look at it. Haha
For a simple burger, prepared well, I like Sunset Burgers on Nelson off Seymour (next door to the Commune Cafe).
For a more gourmet burger experience, Max's Burgers on West 8th Avenue off Cambie (across from Whole Foods).

I've only had the burgers and it was fine to me. Beer selection is not bad either. Not saying the place is wonderful or anything but it 'does the job'!

The burger isn't that great - it was mostly nostalgia for me. When you take that away, the burger is really meh.
I thought the burger at Local in Kits had a mean burger as well. I hear refuel is good too - serving medium cooked burgers? Better get there quick before they close in the upcoming weeks. The top chef Canada dude and his partners bought out the place.
Sasquatch Inn On Hwy 7 just at the turn off for Hemlock...was really good, the Sasquatch burger, big, beefy goodness with bacon, real cheddar, mushrooms and hand cut potato fries....
Also, second on Burger Haven. White Spot, not so much...frozen patties, substandard ingredients. Might as well eat one from Denny's. Same with Fat Burger...barf. Boston Pizza? Really....no. Same sort of frozen mystery meat patty.
Red Onion, W.41st and Arbutus....
Vera's...kits location best so far...
Romer's...try the one on south Van off Marine bottom of Kerr st, right on the Fraser.
Burger Etc..real good.
A&W Sirlion with bacon and cheese...and onion rings....root beer...only fast food one that cuts the mustard..
No Burger King, McShits, Wendy's(Pukey's), DQ, Wally's or Lost In the 50's on Edmonds and Canada Way...Denny's, Bino's, ABC. Ricky's, Smitty's, or White Spot. Unless you've just smoked a fatty and the munchies compells you.

Hey Vito try the burgers @ JohnB pub on Austin ave Coquitlam...very good pub burger pretty fresh tasting...Myselftheother mentioned RedOnion on 41st and Arbutus...also pretty good burgers & not pricey
