I have surgery tomorrow (lipo) and I am SO NERVOUS--excited too--but mostly nervous. I've never been under general and it'll be my most major surgery ever. Share your positive surgery stories?
Been under general four times. Never had a problem. You just have to take it easy in recovery. If you are feeling disoriented, relax and stay in the recovery bed. Watch out for the nurses as they are the ones always trying to clear you out as they can be impatient to get home.I have surgery tomorrow (lipo) and I am SO NERVOUS--excited too--but mostly nervous. You will do fine - just be positive about the whole experience. it will be over in no time. I have had few surgeries and they all went well. So dont be nervous and they know what they are doing...I have surgery tomorrow (lipo) and I am SO NERVOUS--excited too--but mostly nervous. this 100% sounds like something I would do lolWaking up after surgery and actually getting on your feet can be a little uncomfortable, so take your time.
I think the last time I woke up and went back to sleep so many times because I was too warm and comfy, but they eventually noticed and told me to stop. Maybe I was just being lazy
thank you for your positive story! I'm doing it because I want to!Blew out a hip years ago and had the total hip replacement thing. I was impressed that the surgeon and everyone on the team introduced themselves to me then signed my left leg!! No shit, as in autographed it as I was going into the OR. Went under with no sweat but as I was coming out of the general, I had a blood pressure drop, rare I was told, not unusual but not typical, which caused some excitement.
But Ms. Beckett, why are you doing the lipo thing? You sure look good to me and I am sure the discerning gentlemen here will agree!!
I told the nurse “Don’t do anything! I’m still awake!”when they tell you they're done, you seriously think they're joking
