Going to bar/club alone

Anyone done this before? Not sure if its a good or bad idea. Any experiences you guys want to share?

I was thinking of paying an sp to go with me but probably not a good idea

Honestly, I think it's pretty common for guys to go to the club alone, not so cool for the ladies though. Sit at the bar, try and get a reasonably good view of the dance floor.

If you look around Vancouver, you'll be surprised to see how many people are out and about alone. Walking the streets, in the malls, sitting at the coffee shops. Guys sitting at a bar alone is kinda drab, but maybe they like the music.

And let's not forget, everyone these days is so attached to their phones, no one is going to give it a second thought if you're sitting with a beer, glued to Facebook!

I go out alone all the time. Yet I am never alone for long... I have the confidence to start a conversation with anyone I choose. It has led to some amazing nights!

Ask yourself... what do you care what a bunch of strangers think of you? Odds are they are too wrapped up in their own lives to even notice you.

I've even travelled alone, more than once. Whether I was skiing or hanging out in the tropics, I always end up either talking with other people for a while, or making friends for the entire trip. And yeah, there are some hot and steamy stories to tell!

Now, I still go to social events and dances alone, but they are a very different beast to your typical bar/pub/club night.

I will first say I hate ppl with there phone in there face in social situations remember when ppl used to talk to each other. Any way I once went to meet my boys at a night club and the left before I got there I went in met a girl she bought me a drink I chilled with her and her to friends they were all pretty cute and went back to her place at the end of the night. Don't worry about being judged and you can pull off the club alone. This was in Victoria but hey maybe you can do it in Vancouver to

So what big deal you go into a club / bar/ pub by yourself. You sit there have a beer or a glass or hard liquor and enjoy yourself. If you have game maybe you pick up some single lady. If you don't big deal enjoy yourself.

That's exactly it. I think people truly have forgotten what it is to be social.
I am not in high school/college anymore... I don't need wingmen... I am my own man.
