I signed up here back in 2002 I believe. I have not posted for over a decade but have read the board on occasion to see how it has developed. It has quite frankly been an interesting study to watch it evolve over the years.

In any event, I have seen threads relating to "dating SPs", and given the comments, felt it prudent to advise those thinking of doing so that it can be done successfully.

I started dating an SP in 2002, and married her in 2003. We have just celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary and are very happy together. We both have successful careers (she stopped being an SP when we married) and lovely children.

I had no real intention to post this, but given the apparent interest in the prospect of dating an SP, thought it would be helpful to let people know that there are success stories out there.

Be safe and happy all.

Thanks for letting us know your success story—and your favorite sport!

Hey hockey_goalie,

You shared a tantalizing tidbit—which makes us thirst for learning more about the secrets of your success. Did you marry a Western or Asian SP? Won`t blame you, though, for keeping such details under wraps.

My guess is, lots of guys are married to former SPs, usually without realizing it. SPs tend to be attractive women and, when ready, have little trouble finding a guy to start a family with—but often without letting on about their play-for-pay past.

Two obvious problems doom lots of relationships between a man and an SP who`s open about her past:

1. The ego of many guys can`t handle the truth about their SO`s sexual history as an SP.

2. Many SPs get addicted to the adrenaline rush that comes with stranger-danger sex. Hard for a long-term partner to provide a sufficient level of excitement.

But sounds like you managed to cope with both problems.

A guy like you is certainly exceptional, but you`re not the only exception. I just remembered brother dave443: https://perb.cc/vbulletin/showthrea...ng-quot-a-micro-girl/page4&highlight=Rescuing

Would love to hear more about your story. Just hope, being on an escort review board won`t endanger what you have.

SPs are people too. I'm sure most of them go on to relationships just like every one else, get married, have kids, have careers etc. I imagine it would be difficult while she is still a SP, but after retirement I don't see what the problem would be.

I'm very happy for you both. I'm sure that, in this community, your scenario would appeal to most singles. I'd love to hear the story! Many guys 'fall in love' with their SPs but it usually lasts about 15 minutes, until cooler heads prevail (pun intended)!

We live in a time where most couple or individuals like to throw in the towel and get a divorce rather then sticking and working it out to the end. 10 years with that kind of background and from a client and sp, not just any regular couple is Amazing.

I promised myself to never fall for any SP no matter how beautiful I found her inside and out, wouldn't be able to handle it.

Your place or mine?
Congratulations, on going where most pooners has never gone before. May your success in the marriage be as bountiful as your happiness together.

Funny you should say that.

My GF had a client for 8 years. On occasion he would ask her to marry him. Finally one day, she realized that he was her best friend and she decided to go for it. They got married in Vegas and moved to Southern Texas. The last I talked to her she was driving a Jag and assimilating to her life with her new husband (the doctor).

Thank you all for your kind words.

To address some of the curiousity questions, yes I did start out as her client. I asked if she wanted to try dating and she said yes. We dated and during that time she continued to work as an SP. I ultimately proposed and was of course thrilled when she agreed. She was a popular SP back then with a lot of regulars so we agreed that she would have a "retirement date". Thus, after I proposed, she continued to work as an SP but only to see her regulars up until the retirement date. That date came and she officially retired.

I would speculate that a lot of guys would not be able to "handle" their girlfriend/fiance working as an SP, which is why I suspect this type of situation is so rare. It did not bother me - I suspect because while single I was a frequent client of many SPs, including seeing some outside the "working relationship" for lunch, etc., so I was used to the lifestyle. I am also not a jealous type - I would think guys who have a jealous streak would not be able to do this - it would probably be too hard on them.

Ultimately, I think you need a guy with the right personality, an SP who wants to work in a more conventional job and lead a more conventional lifestyle, and of course a mutual attraction. In some sense this is the "perfect storm" so likely is rare.

Very cool  you sound like a helluva guy! So have you also "retired" from pooning?

Cami: Yes, I happily "retired" - if that is the correct way to phrase it - the day we started dating.

Of note, I was treated to a few threesomes with some of her escort friends during that dating/engagement time, as a wedding gift. A lot better than a silver plate.

I have dated a few sp's and a stripper but none of them ever really fully quit the game when I was with them so I knew it wasn't going to last. I am still great friends with one of them and we talk on a regular basis but she has gone and married a guy 40 years older then her but she is now financially taken care of and has had two kids with him.
