Luongo. He's your guy. He doesn't need rest as the Canucks had nice layoffs between the Preds/Sharks/Bruins series. Only one goal was weak last game. I'd be more alarmed with the Powerplay scoring 1 goal in their last 25 attempts, Henrik getting his first two shots of the series 4 games in, the shitty play of the top 9 forwards and top 4 defense and the fact the Canucks had about 2 scoring chances. Did Edler and Erhoff forget how to play defense? Martin Broudeur in his prime couldn't have won last night's game.

One goal was all the Bruins needed.

Luongo will get the start.

Not starting him pretty much means the Canucks are gonna have to deal or release him in the summer. A deal would be unlikely because why would any team want a $10 M playoff joke.

I had know no clue Zach Galifianakis played goal for the Bruins...

hah hah... good one - and half the time he can't hold on to his stick with the other hand!

nope - he's a damn good goalie most of the time, he just gets these dark periods where he needs to take a rest. and the rest of the team knows it too, and they all fall apart at the same time

as soon as cory got in last night they started to play noticeably better - they didn't do any scoring, but they definitely started to make shit happen on the ice. for that reason alone they should start cory tomorrow, but be ready to pull him fast if he pulls any of the stunts he pulled the last time they started him
shut-out for louie - i guess that's why AV is coaching hockey and i'm kicking horse turds down the road....

Not now....the debate is over. Let's be honest, Luongo was on a short leash tonight and everything went well.
ya… but you wanted Schneider to start didn't you?
and what did I tell you? comment only on sports that you have some knowledge of–
… golf, WNBA, darts, etc.

My hunch is if that shot that beat Lou in the 1st and rung off the cross bar was a few inches lower, we may have seen a different Lou. But his confidence kept building and he came up with some big ones in the 3rd.
that rebound in the first that luongo kicked out with his blocker is what won the game - quite the save...

due to a comment that says Lou doesn't like to play at the Garden? ;)
who made the comment?pretty sure it wasn't Luongo, lol.

That one knuckler off the crossbar might've totally changed things
but you could look to Glass fanning on a beaut set-up from Tanev(btw,he was solid)
as another what-if moment.

that's what makes it fun to discuss/argue

Game 6 will have its moments too.
