I'm not sure if this discussion is federal or provincial, the op is federal but most of the discussion is provincial.
There's not much we can do provincially, an ndp majority will be voted in, and the province will be worse off for it. I personally don't mind the tax increases to high wage earners, or corporations, as mine is registered in Alberta.
I don’t know about others, but If I know I will have residence in BC on December 31st, I pay myself no bonus that year, living off a modest salary, and taking advantage of B.C.'s wonderful 5%, 7.7% and 10.5% brackets, while paying the remainder out at a flat 10% the next year in Alberta.
What does concern me is when their socialist policies start hampering growth not only in BC, but farther east as well. Yeah they voted socialism off their party constitution, but they sure never voted it out of their mindset.
