Does anyone have any stories to share about being followed around by the cops?
This seems to be happening to me quite a bit lately when I cruise the poon-zones of town, even if I don't stop or slow down for anyone.
Sometimes it is the white/gray/black Crown Vics with the two black bumps on the roof (obviously a cop), but sometimes it is a black or gray SUV (pretty certain it is a cop but can't be 100%). Fairly recently the gray SUV followed me around for quite a while (5 minutes perhaps), including two right turns in a row (going back in the direction I was just coming from... very little chance that this was coincidence and this is what the driver was intending to do all along).
Once one of the unmarked Crown Vics followed me all the way from Hastings and Clark - down Clark, down Knight - turn right at Knight and Kingsway, Crown Vic turns with me... both of us get stopped at a red light and I look over at the two of them (in uniform) and they look away. Finally I turn off on Fraser and he doesn't go with me. Fucking brutal, eh? There is no way they just happened to be "goin' my way", staying 4-5 car lengths behind me.
The expense invloved in paying a cop's salary to follow people around... it's mind-boggling.
I dunno... I guess you have it coming if you cruise poon-town at 2 or 3 a.m.
Anyone got any good stories? I'm interested in your car-stop/pedestrian-stop stories as well if you have any.
