If you go through an agency or you find a well reviewed lady on PERB you will have nothing to worry about. I don't advise finding anything on the street though.

You can not participate in the hobby without risks. There will always be risks. But if you play smart and always keep safety first in mind, then the risks are lower. I've played on and off for many years now and (knock on wood) had zero problems. That's the best you can hope for. Choose reputable places and service providers and treat the ladies well and be generous.
Yeah I highly recommend doing research on who you'll be seeing beforehand. Really helps. It seems the OP is based in Victoria, since he wrote on this board, rather than on the one in Vancouver, where you are based. In Victoria, all he has to do is visit one of the fine incall agencies in town. Those four agencies rarely failed me when I was in the city (my reviews speak for themselves). Accurate pictures, beautiful young women, licensed and well-maintained. Two of them are only 160 HH/200 hour, not bad for being with hot Caucasian women. They are some of the finest such establishments in NA and Vancouver has nothing to compare - unless you include the ripoff Fox Den and Angels, and lousy MP's like Great Pharaoh, Atlantis and Tokyo Massage (except for a young Italian called Anna who used to work there). Only Edmonton has the sort of studios that rival the agencies in Victoria for safe licensed FS with hot Caucasian SP's.
