If ur referring to my comment above? Cant provide the source except... I know people in different parts of the interior, and, area where I grew up who tell me how they've seen a sudden infux of homeless in their areas.
U think The local tv media is gonna tell u this? Get real lol. If you haven't grown up in parts of the interior your whole life and you're stuck in metro Van? Then you wouldn't know.
Its even posted on Facebook numerous times where people are from different parts of BC say it lol.Even Instagram videos show it.

Would like to see source of information about transferring people from the ally behind the Carnegie Centre.

This is my third World Cup. I've found Van pretty well the same as it's always been. Toronto had more of a vibe to it last week than Van does but I surely enjoyed BC Place more than I enjoyed BMO Field.

Hasn’t been nearly as disruptive as the city was making it sound like it was going to be .

Hmmm, I guess all the nay sayers have been quietened by the reality of the tournament. I hope you didn't leave it until Tuesday to find your jersey, they are long gone. Early in the week a retailer talked about receiving an additional 2,000 which they expected to sell in a day.

The crowds have been amazing and the atmosphere electric, the marches to the stadiums have been bigger than anything Vancouver has seen. Granville Street? Awesome! The bars packed. And what about those Fan festivals? PNE, the Shipyards, Granville Island!

The visiting fans have had nothing but positive things to say about Vancouver and with this weather the city has been stunning! We'll now get to see if this much needed rain drowns out any enthusiasm.

The Amphitheatre is beautiful by the way and I am looking forward to all those future concerts.

Your comments had me thinking if Escorts and agencies experienced business increase during this event? Curious if Perb saw a increase in " hits - views "?

We are halfway through the FIFA event and I don't see any of the agencies extending hours until midnight so I don't think any of them are fully booked (i.e. all ladies working that day are fully booked) and its business as usual.

DT workers were busy I understand but for many days those in the burbs were half or quarter the biz.

This should never be out of sight for anyone involved with or watching FIFA sponsored events.

Utterly disgusting.

Let’s not get too far ahead of ourselves; I believe Trump is on the red phone as we speak with FIFA boss Gianni Infantino (if ever there was an appropriate name….) to reverse 4 goals and award the win to the US. Then they’re gonna call up Sylvester Stallone and put him in as keeper for the next match. Go USA!!!

I still don't see what all the hype is about around FIFA in Vancouver on all the days there isn't a game actually in the city. Okay, so you go down town to watch a game on a big screen, and cheer for your team, but there is a LOT of time between games.

You can do that any day in the tourist season in Vancouver, without it costing us $700 million, and ridiculous restrictions.

Trump managed to get the US teams red card reversed.
