I carry a bit of a belly. Sometimes larger than I like but its there all right.

I have heard a few SP's say rubbing on it while in CG is something they seem to enjoy.

Think of a great ass that you do Lazy Doggy on and how damn good that feels. Show on the other foot IMHO :p

Whatever man - I like exercising because it gives me a sense of achievement, and the testosterone boost I get makes me feel like a million bucks. She may say all those things about the dad bod, but it doesn't hurt to fit into a nice slim suit like Daniel Craig.

Sure, I am going to let the body I've worked hard to achieve within the confines of doing what is mainly an office job go to 'pot' just so my significant other can feel better about themselves. Whatever, enjoy your fat boys, I've got enough other insecurities about my appearance and personality without throwing 25 pounds above the belt to com'pound' things. Besides, my fave SP likes my body well toned and that's what will continue to motivate me. Off for a beach run and then to the gym, have fun at the pub with your swill and chicken wings. Next time I'll be seated is when the Rangers hit the ice at 4 p.m.

Just got back from Quarry Rock. Nice fast run up and down hill. My dog was less than impressed though.

Now to stay away from Honey's Chocolate Doughnuts in Deep Cove lol

Feeling pretty damn good. :thumb:

Some mornings it is almost impossible to get going.
Yesterday was leg day...once I got started it was great. 34 sets woohoo.
Ninety percent of working out is just showing up!!

I live on the Rock
I really need to get more into a routine.
Few years ago went on a swimming work out
Once every other day typically 2 to 4 km depending on how I felt & how busy pool was
My job takes me out, boony bashing, so I get a lot of exercise in spurts & this last two months have been nuts.
So let me ask this question
What do u do about munchies?
When out of town we either make dinner or go out
But I find that an hour later I am hungry again, hence munchies
But this caries on when back in the office & sitting at my desk
Any suggestions? Thanks

Fast food is crap. Most restaurant food is as well.
Try and fill up on as much salad as you can before the main course. Easy on the dressings though!
I know competitive lifters who prepare meals a week at a time and eat on a strict schedule. If you are not hungry you will be a lot less tempted to grab junk food candy bars or soft drinks.

I make everything I eat from scratch at home, and make it as purely healthy and nutritional as possible. I stock my fridge and cupboards with healthy snacks (except for Mars bars which I'm addicted to) so there's no other option but to choose what's good for me. I don't even crave junk or fast food anymore. When I eat pre-prepared food, all I taste is way too much salt and artificial ingredients.

I'm not a fan of the gym anymore. I prefer to go mountain biking, xc skiing (not this year) and hiking. I find pedaling my 34lb bike up to seventh on Fromme does wonders. The gym seems too much like work, although I do go sometimes in the winter.

Can you store milk @ work? Mix that with protein powder and it'll keep the munchies away. I really like Optimum Nutrtion's 83. Or get some recommendations from your local muscle store. Don't buy any crap from Walmart that tastes like ground drywall.

I know milk is very trendy but I prefer protein powder in water.
No lactose and less carbs and calories. 500ml chocolate milk ~340 calories, protein powder~120. Some specific low carb powders are a lot less. Also easier to store.
If you like milk though go for it.
