Escort Ads section

The escort ads section has grown, and that's good, but it's now full of agencies posting 10's of threads at once. They have many providers, which is ok, but it clobbers the indies - which this section was pretty good for before.

What do the mods think about splitting the ads section into Agencies and Indies? It feels like it'd be a lot easier to navigate that way.

SPs have requested it some months ago, so mods and admin are aware! I actually asked last year in August before it got so cluttered. Both TERB and MERB do have an indies ad section, and I heard that PERB used to have one too.

We've been told they're working on it (waiting on tech) to make it happen.

I’ve had this thought as well.

Several years ago, there were two sections in both Vancouver and Victoria, one for indies and one for agencies. I’m not sure why they were merged, but I totally agree that it’s not working very well.

I am honestly confused why multiple daily agency posts are permitted, because according to the rules, agencies are only allowed one new post per day. Indies are also allowed one. Maybe I’m misinterpreting the rules, perhaps one of the mods could chime in and clarify, as it seems these rules were written back when each city did have two separate sections. Is it 1 post per day per agency? Or 1 post per day per provider who works at an agency? If an agency has 12 providers, does that mean they can make up to 12 separate posts in a day? If so, it might be a good idea to consider allowing indies to post more than once per day, so they don’t constantly get buried by the agency posts. Just my two cents! 😘

It would be great to see more balance, it seems like the indies are clear on the rules of how often they can post, but the agencies seem to be able to post as much as they want. (Or maybe I’m misinterpreting that rule) I’m curious why

💰 - which is fine, and good to keep the platform running.. But yeah it'd be tidier to have either one post a day or a separate section. I do want to see agencies, it's cool, but I also want to see indies more prominently.

Absolutely! I honestly wouldn’t mind having them in the same thread if agencies were to post all their providers in one post instead of separate posts for each one. It would be easy enough for them to post a daily roster all in one thread which would be easy to see and it wouldn’t clutter up the section or push down the Indy ads.

Absolutely! I honestly wouldn’t mind having them in the same thread if agencies were to post all their providers in one post instead of separate posts for each one. It would be easy enough for them to post a daily roster all in one thread which would be easy to see and it wouldn’t clutter up the section or push down the Indy ads.

They can't post all their providers in a single bump because there's a 10 image limit. Agencies pay a minimum of 360/mo now, compared to our new 130/mo minimum for indies.

I don't think this is an "agencies vs indies" type of issue anyways - everyone wants a tidy separate section for us indies 👏 It's a matter of waiting at this point. SPs have been DMing to check on any progress every few weeks 🤷

There are clients that only go to agencies because they like variety or they like having somebody to complain to or talk to. Some guys become regulars of agencies because they like the phone staff/receptionist. The easiness of a walk in agency that doesn’t require an appointment. Some girls prefer working in agencies. I love being independent but I’ve also had a lot of fun at some agencies. I’ve had great bosses and I’ve had scumbag bosses

And then there’s the gent that likes the romance of visiting an indie at what might be her own place. Getting into her life a bit. They like the idea of all the girls money going to her. Those types are the most loyal and only see indies.

Then there’s people that will see someone anywhere. Agency or indie. Doesn’t matter to them.

And of course there’s many other types of people also visiting indies and agencies.

Having separate sections just makes it easier for agency, indie, and client alike.

I agree it would be cleaner and easier. I didn’t realize they were going to make the sections separate again so that’s great news! Do you know if they’re just doing Vancouver or Victoria too?
