Why would you fork out for an Escalade but then cheap out on a mechanic?

Whatever the reason, if it's a 04, take it to the dealer and get the warranty to cover the shit.

What's your problem exactly? You speak first of a battery problem, then everything else goes? Electrical problems are diffciult to diagnose for a reason. Your battery serves as the "brain" of your vehicle, if it keeps dying, its not the battery, something else is draining the power. It's like leaving your lights on intentionally. I need more info to help you identify the exact problem. :)

You would think if it was an 04,everything should still be covered under warranty/power train/emissions etc,,,,,,,,,,,,Take it to a dealer,or is it a transplanted ( hot)vehicle?:D

At 45000, I'd guess it's an ICBC rebuild with no warranty, hence the reason yer asking here?
Otherwise, factory warranty will fix your ride for free!

given what you've posted in this thread have you considered you may be the problem?

"or something"....WTF, would you like somebody to do a psychic reading on your ride.....if a cars broke it needs a mechanic end of story

don't know what "blainly" is but I think you'd save more money, time and effort if you simply took the bus

again....take the bus

Don't spend too much time thinking about this....you'll only hurt something.

did I mention the bus?

fuck this nonsense.....I'm going back to watch the 4 weasels debate

Time to flip it...

Electrical problems are notorious as being classic money pits...

Put it on trade for something a little less gangsta... and new!

Why worry about your wheels all the time?

My opinion anyway...

thats what you get for buying a North American piece of crap.

Sell it, trade it in, get ride of it ..and before you buy something else buy a copy of consumer reports new car or used car buying guide

get somthing that you can afford and is reliable. forget the flash.

you wasted the money buying the thing so why haggle on fixing it. so it came from a drug dealer in l.a.? eh?? maybe the thing was shot up one to many times in a gang rumble and they missed filling in some of the holes. did you make sure and get all the blood and brain matter off the backseat from the dudes that were probably wasted in the thing. seriously though why the hell would you buy a vehicle from a source like that and then brag about it on here. dumb.
YES SWEETY, I APPRECIATE YOUR FEEDBACK.
MAY BE I SHOULD JUST GO TO A MECHANIC & TOTALLY FORGET ABOUT ASKING FOR ADVICE FROM PERBLAND.....TO EVERYONE ELSE THAT REPLIED....MUCH THNKX. XOXOXOXOXOOX

P.S.
I GOT A NEW BATTERY TWICE IN 2MONTHS....AND THE PROBLEM W/ IT NOT STARTING SUMTIMES IS STILL HAPPENING....I GUESS ITS DEEPER THAN WHAT I THOUGHT......ILL BE AT THE CADILLAC DEALERSHIP IN THE MORNING.......

Unfortunately, the above is good advice. It's not too fuckin hard to make a decent automobile these days, yet the above remains true.

What!?! So a wealthy person can't enjoy a McD's hamburger because they have the money to dispense on more luxurious hamburgers? Can't the wealthy person appreciate good value when they see it? In her case, value (and honesty) is being requested. Vehicles are one of the many objects where the average person doesn't have much knowledge so mechanics can take advantage of them and claim all sorts of faults. Where does it lie that higher price requires higher end maintenance.

Trade it in!!

I agree with previous posts. Trade it in on something more reliable. The reason THE MAn sold it to you was likely cuz he was having trouble with it before.

Grab a copy of Lemon-Aid car buyer's guide. They tell you what problems you can expect with your vehicle, also tell you where to get copies of the DEALER's service bulletins and which problems you can force the dealer to fix. Might help if your car is still under warranty.
