Does anyone know where I can find a machine shop that will help me drill holes?

I have like 30 of amercian dimes that I need to punch a hole through for a little project I'm doing. does anyone know where I might be able to find a machine shop that'll help me do that? thanks in advance!

I doubt you'd find a company willing to do anything officially because it's illegal.

But it's pretty simple to do.

Isn't there still a guy at the Sidney ferry terminal who carves things out of coins?

jj - you could not be more wrong if you tried. There is nothing illegal about drilling holes in US coins in Canada. US money is NOT legal tender in Canada. A merchant may accept if if he/she wants to, but it has no value until it is coverted into Canadian currency. There is no law in Canada that protects the American currency.

i can help you out on this, now that i think about it

go to home depot and pick me up a black and decker drill bit set (i'll send you a model number)

i'll charge you ten cents per dime and i get to keep the drill bit set when its done. :D
