This month marks five years of enjoying this hobby I never told a soul for the first 4 years. Lately my filter is off and I talk about sex work with friends and coworkers as if sex work is the most normal thing going. Sure jealousy can and often does play a significant part, jealousy is a natural human emotion, but, in some situations, it's much more complex than "just a manifestation of jealousy"

I have a very close group of ten friends. We all grew up together and we all partake in this hobby. Some of us are married, single or have families. Everyone has their own reasons for visiting an SP. Sometimes it’s a way of how we thank each other. If I help my friend fix his car or whatever he’ll treat me to an SP or a massage parlour. And vice versa. Sometimes when we get together we’ll book out all the ladies at Great Pharaoh or any other establishment that can host 5+ guys. None of us think negatively about this hobby.

Agreed. I think it’s an outdated patriarchal idea that women and their bodies should be owned, because a man’s bloodline must be passed down so his woman must produce an heir. It’s like, SOOOO 1600s. Get over it guys

Me and our formed band of bro's over at the Vancity street scene thread know all about each other's shenanigans. I don't share with my co workers, not because it embarrasses me..it doesn't, but because I don't want them hornin' in on my territory with the good gig I have right now. My family brothers know, they see SP's themselves, we think it's all quite normal and not really a big deal.

My friends do not know, for no other reason than it's my private world. I'd love to tell them about all the experiences I've had with the amazing SP's I've visited but I'd rather maintain my silence wearing my secret smile.

I've always been very up front about it when we're having a "get to know you" chat at the beginning of a session. One SP told me she just assumes that most of her clients are married, and understands the reason we're seeking someone else's company. I don't know the percentage of guys on here that are single, but suspect that if an SP has issues seeing married men she's not going to have many clients.

I’m single so it has never been an issue for myself. We do share our experiences and to the best of my knowledge the SP’s have never cared or provided a different (better or worse) service when they find out any of us are married etc. I don’t think many SP’s ask though. Fortunately pooning for the last few years none of us has really had a bad experience.

I prefer married clients. Less likely to want more/be clingy etc
