Do you think it is safe to see a SP who has recovered from the virus?

I am asking out of curiosity. Based on what I am reading you are only contagious less then 10 days from when you first got infected. Then they say you are not only not contagious but also immune from getting it again for at least a year. So I wonder how safe it would be to see a provider who has had Covid-19 and has fully recovered say for two weeks.

I guess you could still catch it from someone who visited with her and left some virus behind so there would always be that risk.

So my question would be how safe do you think it would be?

Would it be more safe then seeing a provider who has not knowingly been sick?

Please refrain from getting on a soap box or high horse just give you opinion as it relates to your self without moral judgement.

BTW I have been abstaining since Mid March and have no plans to start back up again so it is more out of curiosity then anything else.

You are contagious from day one and usually after five days up to fourteen people show symptoms and some people don’t show symptoms. Also people recover in a few weeks to months. Also when you get a virus you got it for life and I have not read anything about not getting back for at least a year.

Personally I would social distance from everyone so you don’t catch or spread the virus.

I would approach this being very very cautious, there is always new information coming out, some even contradicting previous information thought to be correct. Seeing anyone outside your household is a risk right now.

How would you be able to confirm that the SP has recovered from Covid 19? Are you going to just take her word for it? I'm not saying that she is not telling the truth, but it comes down to trust.

Think if the situation was reversed. If I approached a SP that is not currently seeing clients and let her know that I have recovered from the virus, how likely is she to take my word for it and say come on over? I suspect very few SPs would just take my word for it.

Later in the future, perhaps much later, we may see the option to be tested for ant-bodies to the virus and receiving a certificate that attests that we have said ant-bodies. At that point your question may become more relevant.

OP, how would you know she ever tested positive? That is definitely not something you would voluntarily share.
I think people who tested positive and recovered have immunity are likely going to do better in the future as they can go to work.

A Covid-19 Passport as it were.

I read a study that has found 30 mutations already. Perhaps only a few are bringing on lethal infections. Perhaps some level of immunity to all can be gained from exposure to a non lethal strain. Much science to be done on this.

A test now exists, that will show if you've already had covid in the past, but since recovered. So someone who had it last year, or January, February, or whatever, can be tested, and know if they already had it as well.

There are SP's who's word you could trust but unfortunately they represent a tiny minority of the industry. Its one more risk to weigh before booking that appointment. This new risk will be behind us at some point but for me pooning over the next 12 months is not happening.

No antibody test that is currently on the market is actually reliable.

So... if you are in the high risk category or you have contact with anyone in the high risk category I think it’s best you continue social distancing. This is just my opinion.

But we’re all adults here who are able to assess our own risks and make our own decisions...

Hey—everybody else failed to directly answer the OP’s question.

Bottom Line? I dunno. Might be safer if the SP had recovered more than a month previously—but as well pointed out by the OP, the place could be contaminated in many places. I can flush with my feet, then wash my feet, being careful not to rub my eyes with my feet in between.

Probly safer if both client and SP were “Omega-men”. Just not seeing certificate waiving pooners or SP’s any time soon. Seriously? You want a certificate, sign up for my Dun-Covid webinar. Or just look in the back of your Volvo Owners Manual.

I was thinking that a gloryhole set-up would probably decrease the chance of virus transmission to a certain degree.

Just remember to disinfect your dick with Lysol afterwards, in accordance with President Trump's advice.
