Do you have any free chat rooms you recommend?

Not looking for dating or making friends, but do you have any chat rooms that you frequent? Mainly in my spare time and friends are busy and just interested in chatting. Really out of the tech loop. Something I prefer doing on the laptop as well. Got WhatsApp but that's it. Is this even such a thing now?

Not sure if this is helpful, but I enjoy going into Facebook and reddit groups that align with my interests. Then I have something in common with everyone I'm interacting with! I have made some longer term online friends this way but you can also keep it light.

The good old days of ICQ, bulletin boards and other chats are gone as far as I know. There might be some specialized ones for certain topics, but anything to do with the opposite sex has been monetized, and boards like this one have replaced the old chat room model. PERB used to have a chat feature, about 15 years ago maybe? it's been dead a real long time.

I highly recommend and suggest a chat site called PALTALK. It's been around since the late 90's and I've personally been a chatting member since 2003 and still going strong!
There are hundreds of worldwide chat rooms you may choose from. Considering this being an escort review board, most of y'all would enjoy the "Adult Playground" genre of chat rooms.
It is free on mobile and desktop, but if you want to watch unlimited webcams, then a subscription is required.
Chatting is fun, but making and meeting lifelong friends is also an added bonus!

I remember going into chat rooms when I was like 12 and guys would be like "wanna cyber"? and I would be like "sure"! Then we would go private and I'd say "ok you start". They'd start, and almost immediately, I'd say "you're terrible at this" and leave.
