Do you cheer for other Canadian NHL teams in playoffs?

I have been a Canucks fan since I moved here and do not root for any other team to win. Lots of my Canadian friends start cheering for any Canadian team to win the Stanley Cup once the team they support are out of the playoffs or didn't make it. I would be so mad if the Leafs won the cup.

Any other Canuck fans do this?

There's a difference between a mild preference or cheering for them and going out and buying a jersey etc. It's been a very long time since the Cup was won by a Canadian team. It would be nice to bring it back up north, but never the Leafs. Their fans would be insufferable.

Honestly, sure. I will happily support another Canadian team if the Jets don't make the playoffs or get eliminated. Having said that, there are a few that will NOT get my support in any way, shape, or form: Vancouver, Ottawa, and least of all, MONTREAL!

Habs ain't droppin off, core is young and locked up, attractive team for free agents too
