Unfortunately, your story is quite common. A young guy I interacted with on another forum was 23 years old, in great shape, but, no girlfriend, heavy porn user plagued by ED issues with the escorts he saw, and that was even after he dosed himself with Viagra. His problem wasn't physical, it was psychological. His porn usage had led directly to his escort usage. Escorts were essentially real life for porn for him. Last time I checked, he had deteriorated badly and was getting drunk and picking fights with guys who were with their girlfriends. He had not developed any social skills with respect to women and his ED was destroying what little self-esteem he had left.
The process that is talked about to "cure" the ED is called rebooting. This is far from scientific and the success or lack thereof is largely anecdotal. But, you're talking eliminating porn completely. None, zero, nada. Some take a very hard line approach, and that is, no masturbation as well during the "rebooting" process. How long? 90 days seems to be the current badge of honour among participants. But, the problem is, nobody really seems to have a clue.
I've personally done 90 days as above in what is referred to as hard mode, complete sexual abstinence. But, for me, it was more of a spiritual cleansing type thing. I don't have ED, so I didn't have that type of pressure affecting me. Its no picnic, that's for sure, but you will learn the true meaning of the little head ruling the big head. Little head almost won, real fucking close. Some posters talked about "flatlining", where they lost all sexual interest. Didn't happen to me, doesn't happen for everyone.
There are some sites on the net that specifically deal with this issue. I'm loathe to recommend them, however, because of the fanatical nature of many of the participants, and because so much of what goes down is like the blind leading the blind. You will learn about your body, if nothing else. Good luck.
