Anyone taking advantage of these restaurants? If so what are your favorites on their list?

I will be visiting the Black and blue one night with one of fav. SP. I hope it is good. It was hard to get a reservation.

This thread started out elsewhere.....

umm ... in the Lounge *confused*?I think .. that it is a good way for restaurants to get people in to their establishment that may not go.

The bad part is that the diner goes with high expectations for a pittance. The restaurant tries to appease that desire with the least expense. Hence the dilemma

The best (chefs\diners) win with exposure ... the worst with dashed expectations .... in my experience *shrug*

Brix was particularly good this years dine out. Went to a couple of others but would not reccommend, so they remain nameless here

There are some places whose normal pricing is outrageous, so dine out gives a chance to try some new places -
