I was in the need for a massage last night, and none of my regular people were available on short notice. I stared perusing the CL THERAPUTIC section and a lady advertising as a CMT who would do in home massge for 100/hour. I'm thinking she may have just been using that section as a guise to hide the fact that she may be a companion, and I was just wondering if I was right.
First of all, she didn't come with a massage table. Very peculiar, but it was raining, and I thought perhaps she just didn't want to tangle with that in the rain. She did bring a little bag along, and promptly asked for payment up front (a little unusual for a massage therapist) and changed into an very tiny outfit (tiny tennis skirt and sports bar). I figured since I had mentioned that I wanted a deep tissue massage, she was just changing so she didn't get too hot.
OK.....unequivocally the WORST massage I have had in my life. She had me lay on my bed, and she SAT next to me and did this one handed soft stroke tickle thing. Even after several repeated attempts to get her to do an actual massage of sorts, she would for 3-5 SECONDS, and then just go back to tickling. She had no concept of anatomy, and clearly had never taken a massage class in her life - much less possess an an RMT certification.
I would have asked her to leave and just keep all the money, but she didn't shut up for a split second. She was talking like a chipmunk on speed and I couldn't get a word in edgewise.
Is that kind of false promotion of credentials on CL common ~ or did I not pick up on nuances of her professional post there, and was she really a R&T with no ability to provide the R?
I really just want my 2 hours back....but since that clearly won't happen, I want to ensure I don't end up in the same situation in the future. Do I need to be clear and specifically state that I am looking for a professional massage from and RMT and want a receipt rather than just taking their word that they have the credentials? Is the theraptic section of CL really just another advertising venue for Vancouver escorts?
