Dianne Watts - Liberal Leadership Race Gets Hot!

I have always admired her for her leadership and it is nice to see her jumping into the leadership race.

I do have kind of mixed feelings though. I know it is totally legal, but this practice of resigning as an MP to join provincial politics or vice versa kind of irks me a bit. I do believe that she has much more to offer than just being a Conservative back-bencher. She has experience in leadership.

Do you think she will be the one to lead Liebrals/Libel-ers back into power?

I saw her interview with Global news this morning. Breakfast seemed tastier than before, for some reason. I know I am being sexist here but with her, I have one more reason to be interested in BC politics. I think BC politics is going to get 'hot' again. For some reason, I think she looks nicer with a partial smile on her face.

Exactly....not a lot of air between the Federal Conservatives and the Provincial Liberals, so not a big political change on that front....on the front most guys here are interested in...same crap as the last one.

I have never cared for her when as Surrey Mayor nor as a Fed.

Big biz and developers will love her as expected.

The Libs will not recreate themselves by bringing in a "not so new and improved" leadership. It will be status quo with them moving forward.

Before I say anything, please forgive me if I am crossing the line of decency. I don't mean no disrespect to Ms Watts. This is more like a locker room talk more than anything else.

Thanks for the kind words. Beauty is ageless. Having said that, in terms of hobby, it ranges between 18 and 60. All jokes aside, I think she looks good for an almost 58 years old lady.
Speaking of old 'hags', only once I have been with a lady older than me. Her name is Ginger and she advertises her age as 56. Trust me when I tell you this, I left VERY satisfied. So yea, age doesn't matter (to certain degree) to me.

As far as Tia is concerned, I am the honorary chair of her fan club. I think I am the one who started it. You can take away my position but not my membership. If I could, I would name places in Surrey after her, like Sky Train could be called, Tia Rail. King George Boulevard could be called Queen Tia Luxx Blvd. Sadly people still look at this profession as a taboo so my idea might not fly. With crazy ideas like that, no wonder I am never going to be an elected official.
