If you own a corporation (ladies, you are incorporated, right?) then it can have a "Health Spending Account" where you just have a board of directors meeting and decide to cover up to $5,000/month in eligible expenses. Medical, prescription, dental for sure. Botox was also eligible but is now off the list. Your corporation has to earn the money, but it is a tax free benefit to you. Sweet. The CRA is cracking down on the cosmetic stuff, but not the basics.

I had all my mercury fillings removed and replaced for less than 2 grand from a very good dentist near kits. Not sure how your bill came to be 10k for christ sake.Id rather go home and pull out all my teeth than to give some dentist 10 grand.
