Can anyone explain the thing with guys asking women to call them daddy, or SP's that market themselves using that phrase?

I've never understood it, and it seems about as creepy as anything. Do men actually think that way about their daughters, or Is it something else, that I'm missing?

Feels weird to me and I always mocked it. I had an SP who is 10 years older than me call me that also and that made it even weirder. I wouldn't call this a result of daddy issues or anything. Many women SPs I've come to know personally are actually on good terms with their fathers.

Rooted in dominant and sugar relationship sexual dynamics. Nothing to do with incest from my understanding. If there was a familial aspect, more to do with a sugar/provider role fantasy.

I agree.

It’s meant as a reference to a "Sugar Daddy” or “Daddy Dom", not her father. So don’t read too much into it about a father/daughter thing.

I know this, but it still creeps me out.

I wasn't aware of this early on in this lifestyle. I made sure anyone i was with didn't refer to me that way as it creeped me out. Much later, during a particularly intense session with a wonderful gal, she slipped and i was totally cool with it. In that moment. Only time it's ever happened but it was kind of hot. I would not be ok with it normally.

Was unaware of the other aspect to it, but when it's done in porn, TV or movies, the women always seem to say it in a baby voice, so it sure looks like it's meant to be implying a daughter/father thing.

Still very creepy to me, and I don't even have kids.

The deeper into the kink world you get the more common it is. The number of times you see “Daddy” or some iteration of it is the trend de jour on Fetlife. Hopefully it goes away fast like leg warmers.

Yeah, it's creepy.. not my thing either...but that's 'supply and demand' ain't it?

...but look at this from a certain angle. If you're a middle-age client, seeking a 'freshly legal' provider, 18 or 19 yrs... What are you doing in the first place?

In the on going struggle to legitimize the sex trade in general, there's always going to be deviant side to it bringing it down. Up to and including 'that we dare not speak of'... knowing it's wrong one looks for way to work around those boundaries with such 'roleplaying', ... hiring a 25year old with a tight youthful healthy body, and tell her to wear a Catholic Schoolgirl Uniform...of course she's going to call you Daddy to fit the role and fill THAT kind of demand... is it wrong?... well, "legally" yes because soliciting is still illegal; but it's one less charge for 'that we dare not speak of'.... "morally and ethically", depends on the age disparity... a late 20s client has a more in common with a freshly legal provider, than a 55 year old would... so why else would a 55 year old seek out an 18 year old?...

Again, not my thing... my personal rule is a "10-15 year variance" from my own age, so I connect better with them.
