In order for #45 to be Impeached there would be a trial based upon the investigation by Congress.Wow! There is a lot of ignorance on this site about the difference between impeachment and being forced out of office. Two very different events!
Clinton was impeached. Don't believe me ??? See: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Impeachment_of_Bill_Clinton
So the people on this site that believe that Trump will not be impeached are either very ignorant or optimistic fools. Trump will almost certainly be impeached, especially since the Democrats hold the house and the Dems have a great deal more ammunition for impeaching Trump than the Republicans did when they impeached Clinton.
Was Clinton forced out of office. No! For the same reason Trump will not likely be forced out of office, becasuse the Republicans own the senate and it requires a 66% vote to force sitting president out of office.
Clinton was not only NOT forced out of office, but the American people were so pissed at the Republicans for impeaching him that they voted Clinton in for another term. Trump can only hope the same happens for him, though personally, I doubt it. Trump is already despised by a large percentage of the American people. Plus, I'm sure the majority of USA citizens are aware how idiotic they appear to the rest of the civilized world for having voted Trump into power in the first place. They are likely not to want to look like idiots a second time.

I'm sorry, but you are WRONG WRONG WRONG !!! Only a majority in the house needs to vote for a president to be impeached. The 2/3 majority in the senate is only required for removal from office. In order for #45 to be Impeached there would be a trial based upon the investigation by Congress.
The judge is the Supreme Court Justice and the verdict is voted upon by all 100 Senators.
Rep 51
Dem 47
Ind 2
A 2/3 majority is required to convict.
Given it’s not a secret vote, my bet is the Republicans vote by party lines. Hence saying #45 will not be Impeached. If it were a secret vote, the result may be different.
Once Impeached removal from Office is the next step.
You are absolutely right.I'm sorry, but you are WRONG WRONG WRONG !!! Only a majority in the house needs to vote for a president to be impeached. The 2/3 majority in the senate is only required for removal from office.

A quote from above:
"Once House lawmakers’ investigation is complete — we don’t yet know when that will be — they can decide whether or not to recommend articles of impeachment, or charges to be specifically brought against the president. The House Judiciary Committee would vote on these charges and then advance them to a vote by the full House. The House then decides if it officially wants to charge the president on these counts, a move that requires a simple majority to pass.
If those articles pass or those charges are brought forth, the Senate can hold a trial to decide if they want to convict or acquit the president. It is also possible, however, that Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell will decline to do anything about those charges.
To convict the president and remove him from office, two-thirds of Senators, or 67 of them, would have to vote to do it. Thus far, the House has impeached two sitting presidents but the Senate has not convicted either of them."
So you either have to admit I am correct or tell all of us on this site that in fact Clinton was not impeached. Take your pick.

Trump appointed acting DNI called the whistleblower very credible in front of congress today. Maybe don’t invite a foreign country to interfere in a domestic election and you don’t have these problems.Nobody's talking about the breach of security. The Dems are always going on about Trump's loose lips, but what the hell are intelligce people doing gossiping about private calls between national leaders? A former operative stated : The content and transcripts of these calls are highly restricted. The whistleblower makes clear in his complaint that he did not listen to a call in question, nor did he read the transcript — he was told about the call by others. If true, intelligence officers have grossly violated the rules as well as the trust placed on them to protect this sensitive information.
This will end very badly for the Dems, who are fixated on "getting" Trump, rather than formulating policy, finding a decent candidate and passing legislation. Their thirst for power and failure to accept the result of the last presidential election, has no limits. They would rather see their country further divided, than allow Trump's term to expire, and fight him in another election.
What did Hunter Biden get caught doing?Dems are in survival mode now, since Hunter Biden, Joe's son, got caught with his hand in the cookie jar.
Agreed! Oh and there will definitely be photos. Maybe Greta should ask him what's fuelling that bus and plane he crossing the country on.I cant fathom how Canadians are so fired up and up in arms over the politics of the USA when in Canada for the last 4 years we have had an utter buffoon running the show.
Tomorrow Trudeau is going to participate in a "Climate Strike" march and no doubt get in a photo op with Greta Thunberg and of course preach about "saving the planet".....he wont of course campaign on his record of governance
nor on his ethics violation etc....etc...etc....SNC Lavalin scandal....ETC...ETC.

Again, impeachment does not mean being forced out of office. I believe Trump will be impeached (just as Clinton was), but he will not be forced out of office (just as Clinton was not). And again, where Clinton won another term after being impeached, I don't believe Trump will succeed in that way unless the Democrats select a really weak candidate to run against him (read Warren). Here we go again.....

No one should be getting their hopes up. The media is overselling the demise of Trump once again. And seriously...does anyone really want Pence to be President?
I agree that he won’t be forced out of office. But the Democrats will keep trying to get him out of office before their crimes are exposed, and they will be getting more desperate as we get closer to the election. Oh, by the way, when will the mockingbird media go after Biden? That’s the real story.Again, impeachment does not mean being forced out of office. I believe Trump will be impeached (just as Clinton was), but he will not be forced out of office (just as Clinton was not). President bone-spur legitimately trying to root out corruption is like Mexican cartels actively lobbying for cocaine legalization. Geesuz!!!As far as I can tell, Trump was asking about Biden's son's possible involvement in corruption from before the LAST election. Sure, revelations could come out that might harm Biden Sr's current run, but how is it impeachable to ask about past corruption?
The Democrats have spent the last two years going back in time to take down statues, challenge Supreme Court nominees and trying to implicate Trump in everything from Russian collusion to deaths of illegal migrants to the sinking of the Titanic.
Anything Trump does gets a pass from Fox News, Breitbart and his right wing media apologists. And yes, Trump is the worst president ever!!Anything the Dems do gets a pass by their media apologists, but anything Trump does is the worst thing any president has ever done.
How many right wing media are there? Brietbart, sometimes Fox News are about it. ALL the mainstream media are propaganda arms for the Democrats.Anything Trump does gets a pass from Fox News, Breitbart and his right wing media apologists. And yes, Trump is the worst president ever!!
I put on Hannity to listen to Fox Entertainments slant on the issues. Tonight a panel to investigate Clinton’s et al. No facts presented but a lot of hyperbole about conspiracy theories. Never a word of actual today’s news as to why all the audio transcripts were transferred to the secure servers. How many right wing media are there? Brietbart, sometimes Fox News are about it. ALL the mainstream media are propaganda arms for the Democrats.
I notice you didn't make comment on the facts in the post above, because the facts don't fit your agenda.
