not to sound as though I don't have the spirit of the holidays or anything

but I can think of nothing so pleasant as, once the wrapping paper has all been tidied up, the huge meals finished and cleaned up after, the cameras put away, and the family and friends have all said their goodbyes and headed back to wherever they were visiting from... finally enjoying a chance to kick off the dress shoes, get out of the formal clothes, pour myself a drink and sit on the couch to read one of my new books in peace and relative quiet

delightful

What happened to the twelve days of Xmas?

The first day is Boxing Day....and continues all the way to January 6th.

Each day is a new opportunity to sample some holiday spirit, what ever you conceive that to be!

You put the camera away :(

I suppose that means no pictures of you in an Elf costume :(

Oh well, 262 days to Christmas.

Of course we still have lots of opportunities to party - New Years this Friday, Stanley Cup, Easter, Canada Day with that old prince and the woman that he was cheating with and, of course, Summer Pool Parties.

...................and which Christmas would that be ??????????
