Cheap But Nice Hotels!!! Help!!!

Hi everyone!

I'm in need of some fast info here... hotels, motels... all in the Vancouver or Burnaby area... North Vancouver included!

I kneed to know which are the cheapest but not seedy...

What places are good? Names & room rentals if you know em!

If they have hot tub or sauna access that's great, but a simpel room with shower facilities is all I need.

I'm really looking for personal experiences and preferences here... spas, saunas, hotels, motels...ANYTHING!

Places that have good deals...places that don't perhaps advertise as much as the large chains.

Any suggestions are very appreciated everyone!

problem is that they are almost always booked ... but if you check out the hot babes hanging out there, no wonder!

The Best Western at Hastings & Cassiar has reasonable rates. When booking a walk-up rate on a room, even after being quoted a rate, always ask if there are lower discounted rates available. This is important as the clerk will usually quote the first rate that comes up on the screen. Forcing the clerk to look deeper wil almost always yield a lower cost promotional rate. Also, most hotels have a "day rate" available. Day rates that don't include an overnight stay are profitable for hotels, as they increase the revenue for the room, by placing the room back into inventory for the 24-hour period.
