Where do you people live to be so harrassed?
The last time someone trying to sell something knocked on my door after 5:00PM must have been 20 years ago.
Phone calls, yes, but people are so skittish now I don't think there are many door-to-door sales people left.

Years ago, I used to get JWs at the door every weekend. I'd be in the garage tinkering on my car, they'd come over. It was 2 teenage girls. The parents would drop them off at one end of the street, and pick them up a few blocks away. I could tell they just weren't into it, but were being coerced into this. So I made them a deal. You can come over here and hang out, kill some time. Garage door stays open, obviously. Talk whatever, just not religion. Then meet your parents after half an hour or so. They came every weekend for months and just hung out.
One morning, after a very late night, I got woken up by the doorbell very early in the morning. I came to the door in my underwear, half scratching my balls. The girls screamed and jumped back. Didn't see them again after that.

I clicked on that link and holy shit that story is pretty much bang on with how it is in the UK these days.Nothing but PC pandering to minority groups and Socialists.Other than my brother and my father the rest of my extended family live in Britain with a cousin who is a professor at Oxford and I PITY all of them.....sadly Canada is just about 10 years behind on this shit.

The Mormon's are better organized in my district than the JW's. They send out beautiful young women in Summer dresses during the warmer season when your more likely to be outside. It's hard to send them away quiet frankly...

I had no idea the Mormons went door to door campaigning... I think I may find a conversation with a organization that was founded incorporating polygamy far more interesting.
