It was very sad to hear the passing of Eddie on Tuesday !
Instead of mourning his Death, why not celebrate all of the pleasure, and enjoyment He's brought to our Lives !
I first discovered Eddie, and Van Halen while scouring the Record section of the local London Drugs in early 78' .
The Album cover intrigued Me enough to buy it on a whim .

Imagine my surprise, and joy when I dropped the Needle on Side one, Song one .
The whole Album was full of great Songs, that turned Me into a Fan immediately !
I had the good fortune to see Van Halen on their first stop in Vancouver at the Coliseum later that year .
I can't remember who they were backing up, but, I certainly remember Van Halen performing a great Show ! ??
It's a tough call picking an all-time favorite Song .
But, I've still got a soft spot for "Ain't Talking About Love" from the DLR years . ( Still my favorites overall )
And from the Sammy years, that would be "Finish What You Started"
You've got 131 Song choices, and most of them are more than just Fluff !

Thanks for all of the enjoyment over the years Edward ! RIP
Mr Q.
P.S. There's a little irony that I was already celebrating Eddie's genius almost a month ago .
