indeed...Well Andy Murray denies it but I think this is about the best the Blues have got to give. And it's not enough....
Maybe I need to retract my earlier comments suggesting we don't necessary need a Luongo only 90% of him and instead say we NEED Luongo. If it was a goalie 90% the caliber of Luongo, maybe it would have been 1-0 Blues 24 seconds in and a complete different game.
hahaha, that is the stupidest hockey comment I have ever read. If you like them or not, on paper the Canucks are a reputable playoff hockey team. Thats what unbiased pundits have concluded.indeed...
without Luongo the Canucks are nothing more than the Phoenix Coyotes...
Blues haven't caught a break in this series yet...
if they can win the next two at home...
No doubt. That's got to be the most bizarre type of fan, the one that cheers for the other team.hahaha, that is the stupidest hockey comment I have ever read. If you like them or not, on paper the Canucks are a reputable playoff hockey team. Thats what unbiased pundits have concluded.

That is such a weak and desperate comment.not without Luongo...
yes, all teams would be worse without their best players...That is such a weak and desperate comment.
No shit the team would be worse without Luongo...
Guess what? They have Luongo. So your point doesn't mean anything.
Where would Washington be without Ovechkin? Where would Boston be without Chara? we could go on and on... but the point is irrelevant.
Fortunately the management of these teams have had the fore-thought to acquire these players and surround them with complimentary pieces. That's the way the world of pro sports works.
Again... NO SHIT!yes, all teams would be worse without their best players...
but are you saying all team's best players impact their team equally...
goaltending influences the outcome of a game more than any other position...
Inamorato, your point is well taken. But, with all due respect, the 1996 Avalanche and 1993 Canadiens had some of best offense in the leauge, the 2003 Devils by far the best defense. They didn't win on goaltending alone; no team does - goaltending is the deciding factor when teams are equally matched upfront.I assume you think that the 03 Devils, 96 Avs and 93 Habs should return their Cup rings, because they had good goalies too?
All that matters in the end is what colour jersey the team holding the cup at the end is wearing.
If you read between the lines, that was my point.Inamorato, your point is well taken. But, with all due respect, the 1996 Avalanche and 1993 Canadiens had some of best offense in the leauge, the 2003 Devils by far the best defense. .
why is hockey any more of a team sport than say football, soccer, basketball, rugby and lacrosse...Hockey is the ultimate team sport, and no 1 player will ever win a cup by himself.
2 things. Tempo of the game, and physical intimidation.why is hockey any more of a team sport than say football, soccer, basketball, rugby and lacrosse...
bullshit, Willie Mitchell was leading the league in +/- for a while playing against top lines. Ohlund is a veteran, Edler is a gem.not without Luongo...
for them to have a chance he has to stand on his head...
BTW, what is a reputable playoff team as say opposed to a non-reputable playoff team...
also, congratulations on the new job HotAC...
Where is that bastard anyway??At the risk of hearing huns' tired old bjhunter type rant...
