Cancellation Fees? Yay or Nay ?

Touring can be both expensive and time consuming. With that being said, asking for a deposit is pretty standard for most touring girls. A deposit/cancellation fee covers the providers travel and upscale accommodation in the worst case scenario that she doesn't make enough money to break even on her trip. There's only oh so many clients a girl can see in a day, some girls prefer to only see a select 1 or 2 clients per day for an extended date. Flight, luxury hotel, etc. can easily come out to be $2000+ (and that's just within Canada. International ladies have much higher costs a lot of the time.) I've seen girls go on tour only to come back losing money because of how many potential clients cancelled last minute. Maybe it's due to the fact that clients are booking too far in advance, who knows. All I can say is that I see nothing wrong with asking for a deposit and I encourage ladies to ask for one when touring.

Ladies go on tour for different reasons, it's not necessarily because they can't get enough clientele in their hometown. Sometimes it's nice to travel, meet new people and just get away from your usual day to day life. I would be touring all year if it were up to me but unfortunately that's not doable for me at the moment.

Most of us have to save a bit, take time away from our careers (which may have financial impact or result in a break in income) and pay for flights, accommodations, entertainment and other expenses with no guarantees when we want/need to do this. It's called a budget.
So if you are commenting strictly on the business side then fair enough.
Your comment about touring all year with a vacation lifestyle that should be subsidized or committed to doesn't ring sensibly with the average pooner.

I think if the girl is reliable, she should be able to charge cancellation fees. If you can't meet and it's her fault, she'll be professional and accept responsibility. My rule is: I never give my money to people I don't trust. But I charge cancellation fees (aka 50% deposit) for my services so reputable girls should be able to as well!

Someone making five to ten times as much as the average pooner complains about how tough they have it.

I've taken deposits for tours since I began touring. 25% for short meetings (2-4 hours), and 50% for longer ones.

I've never had any issue with gentlemen providing them, but I also provide a reduced consideration if I receive the deposit at least 2 weeks before my arrival.

Preferring quality over quantity, I choose to entertain no more than 2 friends in a day. And when I am away, I want to focus my time and energy on my wonderful suitors, not on scrambling to make up lost bookings to cover my travel expenses. The deposits ensure my costs are covered, so I can spend my time teasing and pleasing.

I've only had two occasions where I needed to provide refunds. In one case, the trip didn't pan out, and in the other, my location switched to the other side of the city, which was more than a half hour drive away.

In both cases, I provided refunds immediately, and to most of the gentlemen I provided 25% additional time on their next booking of the same duration.

I don't think that any reputable lady or agency would have issues with obtaining deposits, assuming they provided a few ways in which they could receive them.

You are very eloquent Lady Companion, with women I know and trust I have no problem paying the full fee in advance.
As you said it is all about mutual trust and respect.
