Can you ask SPs to show you their IDs if you are skeptical about their ages?

Youth under 18 cannot consent to sex work. If you doubt she is over 18, before you pay her or touch her in any way, ask, check, & leave if she is under 18, or if she does not wish to confirm her legal status for you. That's her absolute right, of course, but if you are caught with a minor it's something the police WILL pursue.
I wonder if an agency or MP has ever mistakenly hired an under-aged girl thru her fake ID. I guess the clients can still be charged.

I got propositioned in a parking lot in Surrey , and it made my senses stand on alert.....once I figured out she wasn't RCMP , I bought her something to eat, and she told me her story.....shitkickings, forced into prostitution, and she was 17.....
I drove her home to Langley , and walked up to the front door with her, just to see the lay of the land.

Last I heard she had kids, and a good life.....always find out their age if you are questioning it in your mind.
you can, but don't always expect them to have their ID on hand. A lot of women even over age 21-24 still get ID'd or get suspicious looks, some women just never age in their 20's, it's really annoying when you get asked, and number 1 - you don't look like your ID photo because you are usually scrubbed without makeup, number 2 - your ID is or purse is hidden far away and you have to go and rummage through shit to look for it, and when you do find it, number 3 - you just don't look like your ID pic, you're not the photogenic type. And number 4, you just can't find it in time and they leave feeling creeped out. These things really do happen, maybe to a very small amount of SP's, but it still happens 
Well the SP needs an escort license. Last I looked (10years ago in Edmonton) that license was verified by the city and she can show it to clients. It doesn't show her real name.
If you are picking up back alley gals then ask for real ID. ....tell tyem they can cover up their name if they like, just have the picture and age visable.
