I love my Hamilton Ticats, but have no idea why they're bothering with this waste-of-space.
He's been given way too many chances in life and only brings disrepute to the team and league.
His behaviour has changed not at all as evidenced by his tweet to his former team on their 0-16 season.
I assume he realizes(not) that if their former Heisman trophy winner had not turned out to be such a loser
then perhaps the team would be better these days. Duh.

i just wonder how Johnny Football fares from day 1 with a veteran coach like Bellichik who knows what he is doing and has players respect rather than Mike Pettine.

Manziel had the potential to be a great QB. Cleveland allowed him to party and even show up to practice drunk. Blame the Browns front office for not sending a message sooner

He's been out of football for 2 years dealing with his off field issues so there is only a couple positives in signing him. One he is still only 25 so should easily get into game shape. Second for a league like the CFL any publicity helps and jersey sales are a bonus. The cons are has he matured? Won't cause any off field problems? It's hard to think he has matured and will just want to play football. Signing him also somewhat goes against what the CFL stands for with regards to family orientated league due to his domestic charge. CFL said he would have to go through a number of assessments before the league would improve the contract. Most likely any contract will have a moral clause and if broken will lead to termination immediately.
