Why do fat out of shape guys with beards - or worse, failed beard attempts - wear camo fake military stuff? Or macho looking “Cracked Armour” sweats with their belly roll hanging over the waistband?
Im embarrassed for them.lol

My take on that is a pair of sweats are the only clothes that will fit them and camouflage were the last ones on the rack in their size.

Toyota of all companies are putting some grey/black camo in the new Tacoma, Tundra and Sequoia vehicles. They may know about this camo warrior demographic too?

There are a lot of skinny guys wearing camo as well. They are the ones with the Browning rifle deer logo on their truck but have never harvested an animal.

One guy had pitch black wraparound Oakleys indoors, with a mini muffin top and bottom from his temple fat. Maybe knockoffs?
These guys are spoiling everything.

Everywhere in BC
You all sound like a bunch of Cityf___s.

I guess context would be needed, if people in the Metro wore that and never did any outdoor activities. Yeah, I guess he look silly. But outside the city, even fat guys in camo you see in a Wal-mart are usually walking to their trucks, with a steel tool box in the back with a quad with a rifle case mounted on it. Why is he fat? Probably because he hunts for his meal as a lifestyle, as opposed to buying processed bug protein with a high-interest credit card....

As an outdoorsman camo is useless considering you need to wear a high visibility vest to avoid getting yourself shot by a trigger happy hunter.
To some, and I happen to have run across plenty…..it’s a fashion statement that they might be an outdoor enthusiast….around here we call them “backyard hunters”
camo is only useful in the military ……BTW

Out of of curiosity, do you guys think wearing camo as fashion is disrespectful to military men/women? Thoughts?
Naw,stolen valour is disrespecting those who have served. Dudes wearing camo? I honestly couldn't care less just like seeing city dwellers dressing up in flannel and skinny jeans trying to look like urban loggers lol. As I've gotten older I've just started to care less about what people are wearing

Fashion statement. No different than people wearing band shirts or someone with a Gucci handbag. Personally I think people with expensive designer stuff are dumb as hell but hey, you do you.

When I wear my leather jacket full of band patches in public I know people give me looks and some of disdain no doubt but who cares they can't do anything about it.

No. The military do not have a monopoly on the use of camouflage. Hunters (today ducks and geese mainly) and hunter gatherers of days gone by have used some kind of camo for centuries. It ain't nothing new and it has nothing to do with respect for anyone.

What color do deer see?
Deer are red-green color blind and would see red and orange as shades of green. This is called having a protanope vision, which would also have deer more sensitive to blue light. That's why it's best to NOT wear anything blue while hunting!
